Not going tonight as it’s too soon after Saturdays shambles, but we really can’t serve up a similar performance to what we did against Bonnyrigg and Brechin.

Been at both the games against Brechin and Bonnyrigg, can’t remember 2 more insipid and depressing performances. They just had nothing about them. There was zero urgency in either game at a goal down to get back level. I understand McLean by nature isn’t one to shout and bawl, but there also doesn’t seem like much coming from the bench either. The team has too many players not up for a fight, particularly Cameron and Conor Scullion yesterday. But Cameron has never shown anything like that since coming in, I’ve not disliked a player as much as him for years. If there is money to spend, it needs spent quickly. A left back, winger and striker should be the priority positions. After the last 2 games I’d struggle to say when I’ll be back, because as it stands it’s simply not worth the £17 to watch that level of performance.

Forbes playing wide right for part of the second half was ridiculous.

I thought Brechin was bad but christ almighty this was worse, incredibly. Even at a goal down there is zero urgency to anything we do. The whole thing is just a shambles. The board and Duffy cannot have any complaints at the shouts towards them today. ETA - I already thought Euan Cameron was completely shite, but injuring Leslie by going through in training has confirmed himself as completely useless.

Didn’t play much for us, far too lightweight for league 1 and I’d imagine league 2 as well. His finishing isn’t the worst, but he’s not great.

After getting a decent point last week it would be good to get our first win of the season here and get off to a good start in the league. Was hoping for a signing or two this week, but may have to wait until near the end of August until bigger teams get their squads sorted and players become available.

The contract I believe is with Puma, and is done through RJM. If we walked away from the contract Puma could sue.

If you’re an owner you can ask on the q and a section. The board won’t put out every detail of it and that’s only right. I’m sure something was said that the fans putting money in want to do it anonymously.

I see Kian Leslie is playing for Kilmarnock colts in the challenge cup against Bonnyrigg tonight.

We will see what comes at the end of august, but the comment about a substantial budget being left could end up being another stick to beat the board with.

Said the other night but still can’t get my head round changing to a 433 system the other night. Rennie needs someone up there with him, and we stuck Forbes on the right of the 3 and moved Mulvanny left when he’s clearly better at centre forward. Mclean spoke at the owners meeting about players just want simple instruction but changing formation 3 games in doesn’t say that to me.

It would be great to see people coming together and wanting the club to go in the same direction, but everyone is so divided over literally everything it’s hard to see it being able to happen. That’s not to say it can’t. After last year everyone desperately needs something to galvanise the support, last night was an opportunity to get something going and we served up a lot of shite. Those full back performances were as bad as I’ve seen for the past 10 years. People may not like the CIC setup, but it is the way to force change if it is wanted by a majority.

That was just absolutely dreadful. The two full backs could not do a single thing right. The formation didn’t work at all, I don’t really understand why we went 433. The gap between the forwards and the midfield was massive throughout, Brechin picked up every cleared ball. The defending for the goals was laughable, any cross ball that comes in we look totally incapable of defending. The boy Leslie showed some flashes and might actually be a decent signing. Rennie was also ok in holding the ball up and bringing others in when they eventually got there. But other than that complete shite. Also, a 2 year deal for Peter Grant is lunacy. We should be going with Sula and Dunachie at centre back.
