That first half was genuinely one of the worst halves of football I’ve ever watched. We were definitely the better side second half onwards, the subs made a big difference as well. We’ve missed scullions energy and dig in there. Poor goal to lose as we should’ve seen that out, but I thought overall we limited them to very little throughout. The second was pish to lose as well. Leslie grew into it as it went on, probably as they tired and he got more space. 3 well taken goals as well. At the end of the day we are through, but we desperately need someone to come in.

Take Sula and Forbes off, drop Whyte into centre back and bring Liam Scullion and Carswell on.

Musselburgh and Jeanfield will fancy their chances of course, but ultimately it’s potentially 2 games against teams from 2 leagues below, which we should be winning in my opinion.

McHardy was at least experienced in league 2 if nothing else, and goes for something. It now seems Elgin haven’t even replaced that and are paying a price for it.

Tomorrows forecast isn’t good but Mondays isn’t as bad so hopefully will go ahead. Would get Liam Scullion back into the starting 11, need his energy and running in there.

Given we’ve just emptied 2 people involved last season, getting Swift back wouldn’t be a good idea. Don’t see Kevin Thomson being interested between his academy and fairly frequent media appearances. Ian McCall I’d be surprised to see come down to league 2, but there comes a point for people where they might have to take a job further down just to get back in. There isn’t many names who spring to mind atm.

McLean was given a bad hand with Duffy pulling the strings, but there is zero evidence in the 15 games(with only 1 win) that he has the capability to change things.
