Budinauckas jnr looked as if he’d never punted a ball up the park before yesterday. His kicking was atrocious. Nothing to do with the wind either.

It’s funny how people see the game differently. I don’t think Allan got caught in the face, looked more like the chest area, but it was still a dangerous challenge in the air by the Stranraer player, I felt it was more red than yellow. Grants booking was soft as shite. Stranraer were at the time wasting from the first whistle until we scored. Don’t recall us time wasting, not sure why we would either when a draw didn’t really suit us. Other than Rennie and King I thought everyone had a decent game. Lyon had his standard couple of aimless hoofs up the park but otherwise was fine too. I didn’t think it was going to be Allan’s day after snatching at a few chances but that leap for the headed goal was majestic.

I’ve had the misfortune of interacting with a couple of Ek fans on Twitter (shock that their big team was also Celtic too!). They seem to think they’re the galacticos but forget what league they’re in and the competition down there for the most part.

Going to Elgin needing a result will be a huge ask. If that’s the case then hopefully Elgin are safe and have nothing to play for.

Bringing in Lyon never makes sense to me. I’d go with that team maybe with the exception of Scullion in for King and Sula in for Howie. I feel Sula gets a harsh review in comparison to other bombscares in the squad over the course of this season.

When Reallity Kicks In loves a downvote in here (downvote incoming in 3,2,1…) I’m also quite confident about Saturday, although that has come back to bite me on the arse before this season. We need to win. Anything less just won’t do.

I’ve not been a fan of Cuddihy since the promotion season. I genuinely don’t know what all the fan boys see in him. He keeps our physio in a job at least.

We are 3pts behind 8th and 9th when at one point we were into double figures behind. How have you been proven wrong by McCalls appointment? Win next week and we can go above Stranraer at least. He’s made a big difference in performances, players and results. What were you expecting? Promotion playoffs? Need to be more realistic given what he inherited and the managers at the helm before him. We were resigned to relegation before he took over.

I've always wanted to visit Balmoor - it's only 1 of 5 stadiums in the current SPFL I've still to catch a game at - but the fixtures between us up there never seen to land on a suitable weekend for me. We have a shocking record against you there, too, so that makes it less of a blow still not making it!
