I think if anywhere defence and striker dept need adding to, we are relatively well covered in midfield, in an ideal world get rid of McMillan and McShane and try n bring in better. Sadly it's not an ideal world. Edit to add I wouldn't want to see Denny Johnstone recalled under any circumstances.

I'd certainly hope not. I had hoped we might have been able to shift McShane but I spose we have did not bad in that dept. Still time ofcourse.

Squad still a bit light on numbers, if we are done then bit risky given the inevitable injuries/suspensions.

I for one didn't think Sammon and McMillan were great signings. I didn't think Sammon should have been signed in the first place and I still don't rate the guy. McMillan was a panic signing imo by McKinnon, he's a poor player. They might just be able enough to help McManus and get us over the line at the end of the season but I don't want to see either of them in a Falkirk shirt next season.

Was great with us. Fast and can finish.

He's hardly featured, played about seven games mainly as a sub, tricky, good touch, probably could play anywhere across the front line, the management team seem to rate him, I thought he would have been out the door when he signed another short deal when Miller n McCracken first started putting their stamp on things, for him then to get this deal shows they must think he's got a part to play. Good luck to him.

Well he won't at the Falkirk stadium given he can't/won't play on plastic pitches.

Has asked away apparently, and cracks said after the game last night could be one out one in. You'd have to imagine it's McShane. Also heard he was touted with a move to you guys but wages seem to be the issue. Cracks said he was happy with the squad whether there is anymore movement or not.

Tidser has been a massive disappointment for us, and on a big wage, I'd steer clear, McShane looks at least fitter but has contributed little, you've probably more chance of getting him.

Can't see Bell hanging about as back up.

Wouldn't be surprised if both McShane and Bell move. Bell can't be happy sitting on the bench in league 1, when he's not injured. Pretty obvious Mutch is No1 now.

He will still be able to jump higher than Sammon, and probably beat him in a foot race.

Depending on how the books balance Tidser and MacLean away, can't imagine Laverty's contract will be much. Anyone's guess how much we are now paying for part or all of McManus contract, in my opinion we are still short in defence and will need to wrap McManus in cotton wool cos neither Sammon or McMillan will score enough.
