I thought we were poor first half, Morrison took his goal well though. Second half Dumbarton just ran out of steam, and was only one winner after it went two nil. As others have mentioned pretty difficult to guage against a patchwork Dumbarton side, but four goals and a clean sheet. Thought Francis was pretty much anonymous, Miller grew into the game at right back, Morrison best player on the park, and Kelly looked a bit sharper and more mobile than Dixon at left back.

That was a shitebag performance we have saw before against teams we shouldn't be scared of but are. McCracken saying post match we created loads, sorry but that's bollocks. The first goal a total fluke, and bar Dowds miss I can't recall us creating much else at all first half. Second half just never started, gave Thistle even more respect than the first and it was inevitable we were conceding, I stopped watching after Graham scored I thought this is going to be three or four. No complaints if it was. f**k knows how we got away with a draw, utter pish performance but it's a point gained for us.

Hoping for a win but usually when we really need a result to lay a marker down we shit the bed. Without a doubt our best performance of the season so far last week with the exception of the last ten minutes when we looked a bit shaky but more our own doing than anything East Fife did (who if they play like that every week are in serious trouble). I think it will be the same starting 11. Score draw.

He was on the bench for Dundalk last night v Arsenal.

I can't see Telfer playing much at all. Too many midfielders ahead of him, that may change of course if we continue to struggle in terms of performance and M&M are still trying to suss out their best team, but if they roll the dice hoping Charlie Telfer is going to be the saviour then they'd be aswell getting their coats.

If you have a striker that can jump, has the ability to run in the general direction of goal then you will cause Durnan and Hall problems. That said we have since signed Sean Kelly so hopefully that means Dixon in the middle at the expense of either of the two aforementioned. If it's the same defence as last week you've won a watch.

He's up against Mark Durnan and Ben Hall so he should be ok on Saturday.

1-1. Can't see East Fife not scoring while we are struggling to muster any sort of decent performance, if Swanson plays then I can see him causing our defence all sorts of problems.

I think our management team are still trying to get up to speed aswell., They both still sound like they have just stepped into the job. I'd question their ability to change tactics during a match, because it's not apparent no matter our formation, players, or opposition. We got away with it at Montrose but had it not been for Miller using his experience to get us a pen I couldn't see us scoring a second.

We also had McManus digging us out a hole most weeks. And to a lesser extent Longridge occasionally being on his game and creating. There's nothing in that midfield and it won't be long before teams start to double up on Morrison. Can only hope Connolly makes a difference and Alston gets up to speed. But the areas that needed addressed in summer haven't been and that's quite concerning.

That was woeful today, budget spent, and by the first round of games our opponents will know if they stop Morrison they have a very good chance of picking up points. There is no other creative outlet.

I wish he was I'd rather him than Todd., Todd isn't the quickest at the best of times but its more obvious when he's played wide. He's never beating a man and hitting the by line and/or whipping a cross in.

Good we have brought another defender in, although I expected a bit more experience, to offer Kingsley a contract which tbh he wasn't going to sign as soon as Hearts were sniffing around and then sign a 17yr old from Killie, they aren't even in the same ball park as players. Slightly puzzling to say the least. Id hope there is still another defender to come in but by same token wouldn't be surprised if that's our lot.

Some signing news on the defensive front would be great.

Hopefully another win, and a better performance than last week when we were awful but played our get out of jail free card (LM). Still no sign of a new defender which is a concern, as it's pretty much a stick on that Forfar will score. 3-1 us and Dowds to get off the mark.

Any news on Keena? Was due to have a scan on his injury today

I think Cove will be a difficult place to go for any team this season.

We will. I'm more worried that McCracken has dementia and totally forgot to mention Keena in his interview. We won't keep a clean sheet so draw as without Keena can't see us scoring more than 1 goal, and we might just get away with Durnan and Hall only looking like the donkeys they are once and gifting a goal.

Id already be making moves to see what's available if I were M&M , the noises from LM don't sound good at all on Keena, even if it transpires he isn't out for season he's not starting any games for a while.

I'd rather have someone who can play right back and centre back, we are pretty well covered at left back with Snedden and Dixon. If Mercer gets injured it probably means pulling Miller out midfield where he's most effective.

Had Keena not got injured I could see us winning this comfortably, sadly he is and I think we might struggle. Hall and Durnan don't look capable of keeping the back door shut against anyone, so I'm going for an optimistic 2-1 win for us, but wouldnt be surprised if it's a 1-1.
