I think maybe consolidate next year maybe a playoff place, if Utd go up they'll more than likely be replaced by Livi who won't have the same financial clout. Interesting times ahead.

I wouldn't be surprised if he's not already spoken to Ian Murray at Raith about one or two players for next season. Scott Martin at Accies I'd certainly be asking about although I think he signed a new deal at the start of the season so that might prove difficult.

I'd have taken a point before yesterday and I'll take a point here. Win would be tremendous but Montrose always give us a tough game and I'm expecting it to be the same on Tuesday night.

I'll caveat that by saying Dunfermline who won it fairly comfortably added to theirs and have gotten worse. I certainly didn't think they'd be in a relegation battle.

I'm not convinced McGlynn has ever been 100% on McCann. Given Mackie was supposed to be his left back and banged the drum long about him being xyz. Reality being McCann has fought his corner and will be a better left back than Mackie ever will as the day is long. Whether that gets McCann a new deal or not he's one I'd be sad to see go. I don't think he's done much wrong not to merit a new contract.

Scott Martin is a massive loss I know one man doesn't make a team but that guy is a very good player and an influence on the team. It would be akin to us losing Lang who has been an absolute collusus at the back for us. These things play a factor aswell.

I'm taking nowt for granted here, if Hamilton have any ideas on the title they'll have to come out all guns blazing and try to win more so with us now having a game in hand. Anything other than three points for them and the noose tightens on Rankin. I think this might be cagier than most expect. A win for us however and the brow of the hill becomes that little bit closer. Probably take a point right now, no damage done and move on to next game.
