Ghadzalov is solid, a proper old school center half who just gets on with it and defends, no fancy passes or playing out just does the job. The system we play now is spot on to the squad we have. Odea Ghadz and Gomis are a good combination and all bring something different. Odea is the natural leader and talks them through it, gomis is good on the deck and Ghadz is no nonsense and is a rock. Julen for me isn't good enough, bit like konrad. Ghadz surely need a new contract. Haber will bring the best out of el bak and wighton, for a big lad he is actually pretty good technically and holds it in really well, wighton today was outstanding, best of him in a dundee top by a mile. The talent was never doubted, just when he would produce on a consistent basis.

Okay so ive calmed down a little and had a reflection. My problem with Hartley is his stubbornness and arrogance at times that he has '' a great bunch of lads to work with '' and that we just need luck. Theres a big difference between playing well and just getting unlucky than just blatantly not deserving anything from games which is us. Pre season with the Mallan deal, he knew Mallan want to join and that st mirren had a price. His arrogance to offer a pathetic offer then not to just pay the money pissed me off. The exact type of player we need, someone to link the play from midfield to attack which would let Faiss use his pace to get in behind. I feel sorry for Odea, Gowser, kerr and Wighton. Probably the only 4 who actually give a f**k. Would another manager get more out of this squad? possibly. we have 7 wins in 28 league games this year, that is woeful, absolutely woeful and thats with Hemmings, Harkins and Stewart for the majority of them. Im more than happy with it. Its pretty clear to me that the full 3 years is not a playing deal. He os far on in his badges and I think is very well thought of by fellow players and staff at the club too. Really hope he makes a full recovery and plays some more football before he retires. Been excellent for us and is an absolute warrior and a nice guy along with it.

Yeah he died at 11:02 when the family were told by hospital staff that keeping the life support on wasnt going to help. Absolutely brutal but he had had headaches etc for 3 weeks prior to the fight. The swelling and bruising on his brain was that bad that the swelling basically crushed his brain. Horrific news, by all accounts a very nice guy and a good fighter.
