I'll stand by what I said. Last year was totally different. It was one of the best, if not the best day I've ever had supporting Brechin. But we were playing well, we had belief in the team and more importantly the manager. Most of us want this manager sacked and the outcome on Saturday won't change that. Maybe I'm getting (more) miserable in my old age, but this has nowhere near the same feeling as last year.

I manage just fine. We're not trying to just get a few pots for the trophy cabinet, the goal was to get promoted.

It doesn't really matter. We'd get lumped by East Kilbride the way we are playing. We've not been good enough for months. Winning the league would be meaningless if we don't go up.

Totally agree. It wasn’t just late on in the game either. They were all over us from the first minute of the second half. For most of the time after the equaliser we were hanging on and the winner when it came had been coming.

He’s a useless tosser and no amount of beating Turriff will change that.

It’s only the referee who thought it was unplayable. Everybody else thought it was ok. The extra hour and a half was to satisfy him and him only.

I think that’s unfair. There’s no evidence of that, everything points to him being desperate to play. He might not have been at his best today but he was clearly really keen to score. And he probably wasn’t at his best because he’s been on the bench for six weeks.

They never cater for a huge proportion of the audience who want them to get gubbed.

She did ok. Probably should have given us a free kick which then led to the Wick goal. Think the players were more inclined to treat her with a bit of respect than other refs. She has run the line at Brechin before and has reffed plenty other games. I know her Mum and she was a referee as well.

It seems pretty clear now Price has no intention of starting Grady in any games. If we win the league and get promoted fine he can say he was right. If not, then he is under huge pressure. He already doesn’t really have the confidence of the fans and he’s put himself in the position of being one bad result away from there being a clamour to get him sacked.

There were one or two when I saw them earlier. It’s the guy from the P and J asking the questions and it’s basically just getting his thoughts on the game. Without asking the question about a guy who has over 60 goals in under two seasons sitting on the bench.

There are actually some good points here and I agree with a lot of it. McHattie is one of the best, if not the best player at the club but he is clearly struggling with injury and there has to come a point when he’ll have to admit defeat. He didn’t play well yesterday and he wasn’t good at Inverurie either. The manager is gambling with his fitness, gambling with the goalkeeper and gambling with dropping Grady. In most games we will get away with it, but in a game like yesterday we won’t.

I doubted the appointment of Price but Simmons by all accounts didn’t want to be the manager so enough of this bollocks.
