There is a lot of strange in there mate ! As for the communication, I’m happy it was communicated via real Cowden fans who put their hard earned into the Club. What obligation is there to feed the unhinged frenzy on here ? How many other Clubs who voted yes have put out statements ? And the Club are not pleading poverty, just stating facts for context in my view. 4k will not change anyone’s world but does make a difference to the LL itself as an organisation.

And the other option is ? Go back to a 16 team league and howl at the moon about how unfair it all is. I’m not saying the B Teams are of any benefit, it just suits your narrow narrative to imply that. If others would get off their arse and speak with a common voice and come up with an alternative that everyone can get behind, then it’s harder for the SFA to say no. The LL can have another vote when it wants and can scrap this decision if the SFA don’t get their finger out and get an alternative for B Teams. It’s not legally binding.

Yeah, turns out the loudest voices are empty vessels. Interesting about the LL Board was that when we came in, it had two members, I think from Gala and Caley Braves and then EK and ourselves put up reps but it’s still two short ! Other Clubs have plenty time to write virtuous statements in the corner of the social club but not prepared to do the hard yards to improve the league set up. I’m not happy about B Teams but 30 game league is a nonsense as well. Two years to get some money in to the league, get an alternative permanent option with at least 18 teams and increased promotion relegation with Tier 6 and then maybe we all get back to enjoying the football.

I think he was referring to existing SPFL Clubs who are Entry Level licence. New entrants don’t get that.

It was reported recently that Clubs who think they may make the play offs have been invited to apply for a bronze licence and will be inspected early next year so they have time to make required changes for start of next season.

No, just means there is no Lowland League team going forward to a play off. Im sure EK will find the readies from somewhere to get a bronze licence.
