  1. Great win for the women even with the referee making some strange decisions the box kick at the end made no sense too
  2. The disallowed try for Scotland for Horne at the start of the 2nd half is a shocker. No8 for Italy reads it wrong and falls over Townsend not the man for that team too
  3. I done Loch Ness marathon a few years back. Really enjoyed it. Quite an undulating course and a decent hill at 20 miles. The way into Inverness after is great too. Totally agree with all advice above. Build it up slowly as the months go by then start to taper before too. In terms of nutrition I’m a SIS blackcurrant gels runner and my snacks which helped me on devil o the highlands last year was flapjacks, salt and vinegar crisps and Banana Soreen (that’s my fave) good luck and hope all goes well
  4. Thought Scotland were pretty poor today but took their chances. Would have lost that game a few years back Atmosphere at Murrayfield was good today too. Always nice to send the English back. Thought Dempsey was outstanding for us today too
  5. Ref gives the England 9 a load of time every breakdown
  6. This has been good to watch from All Blacks but would have been even better if it was against Wales instead
  7. If Sexton trips a Scottish players that’s not a yellow
  8. Interesting way they came to the decision of just a pen
  9. Liked the look of Redpath today. Few others got chances. Bring on next week
  10. Does feel a bit deflating even after a win like that. hopefully get business done early v Romania then all eyes on Ireland
  11. Half time analysis will be cringe worthy if this score stays the same
  12. These commentators are doing my head in
  13. Even the updated statuses after have been tremendous too. I seen them best Wallyford in a previous round and some of the antics at the end that game left a lot to be desired so up the East
  14. I’ve signed up for Devil o the Highlands. I’m terrified but delighted at the same time. Looking forward to it. Anyone else done it before? also looking at the york marathon. Anyone else done that?
  15. John Muir Way Ultra went well and bad on Saturday. 31 miles in 5:26 so pretty happy with that. Was feeling very comfortable until about 24 miles and then the leg cramps started. Last bit was a struggle haha but another one done so happy with that. Differing terrains from the Port Seton to Dunbar did give the route excitement though. would recommend the race to anyone
  16. Done Belfast half marathon over the weekend. PB of 1:40:48. Been a long time since a recent came together like that. Consistent pace and miles ended up in a great run John Muir Ultra on Saturday now. 32 miles from Port seton to Dunbar
  17. Good luck to everyone doing GNR. Done it a few years back and was lucky enough to get ‘hospitality’ due to the wife’s work so started in first pen. Support on the course was great. The last mile along beside the sea was unbelievable but as someone above said the course isn’t the most exciting. Done Mhor Marathon few weeks back. 4 hours 8 on a hilly course which I was delighted with. Got Belfast half marathon in few weeks then John Muir Ultra after that (only the part from Port Seton to Dunbar) Looking forward to both and hard work continues
  18. Rob Kearney’s analysis at half time looking a bit stupid currently
  19. The Elias, Ezekiel and Kevin Owens storyline has been good viewing so far topped off with last nights episode. Interesting to see where they go next with it
  20. Exactly what Stellaboz says above. Just build up mileage gradually. Nice easy pace. Also recommend gels etc and find out what hydration strategy works for you too
  21. Running seems to be going well again at the moment. Training for the Mhor Marathon in August so getting the miles in for that. Doing Run the Blades half marathon as a training run for it. Planning for John Muir Ultra in September if all goes well too
  22. Commentators sounding very bitter after that Dupont try
  23. Taylor struggling here. Looks really frustrated
