  1. Viewing hilights it certainly looks like Willoughby deliberately trips himself up...but being dead in line with the incident in SRE it looked like there was a definite coming together and his foot was tapped causing it to hit the back of his placed foot may have been defenders knee or shin that clipped his foot... but it looked a stone waller to me...
  2. We've (Ayr) just played both DU and RR and lost 2-1 to both...they're no great shares...we played DU off the park and got our pockets picked due to errors by our GK...really should have beaten them and deserved at keast a draw against RR...again silly errors beat us....on form I think your toughest game will be Morton.
  3. Good on you for owning that one... and agree on exiting times... choking to see what kind of relationship he has with contacts and who he's going to bring in to bolster the team
  4. One of the best I saw was Duncan George and Terry Hurlock racing for loose ball and wee Duncan put Hurlock on his erse and came away with the ball.... a magnificent sight....
  5. How was the overnight temperature in Ayr...is there any possibility game could be affected / called off due to frozen areas of pitch?
  6. Guessed wrong mate (on both counts)..we'll do OK this season just need to get MF sorted and Bullen said they were working hard to get a couple in by next week ...let's not forget 3 of our first picks are out injured
  7. Some slavering getting posted on here tonight.. relegation candidates..what after 3 games?..effort we were in the game until their 2nd goal (if it was one) and I make it that's the 3rd time Charlie's been beaten by a lob...he needs to be reminded not to stray to far off his line...after that goal the game was gone.. but come on FFS have some belief..
  8. Fair point but how's this for a thought...maybe DS doesn't want to be a club this size and has ambitions to be bigger... I remember when a 6000+ crowd at home games was the norm and the only way to encourage fans back is to make the experience better than current...
  9. Agree...would've taken both him and his brother who was at Airdrie...both scored in the play off finals
  10. I asked same question a couple of weeks ago as I thought he was worth another couple of games as he seemed to have a bit about him and like to take a pop at goal from distance now and again... take it didn't show enough when he was here...
  11. Alwinton is guilty of coming to far off his line and has lobbed before and won't be long until teams catch on to that one
  12. Are you not thinking of George Stanger...he has been capped by NZ at under 20 and 23 levels and think he can play both RB and CB.
  13. I prefer dirty as can refer to hygiene matters or their style of play....or if you think it should be less personal ans be flub related then I'd go with.. cheatin' b's...
  14. Within predominantly the West of Scotland the word Black is often associated / directed at something that is dirty or someone with poor hygiene... however there have been complaints from other supporters of our fans singing racist songs... when locally it is not associated as such... it is now time to ditch the song or substitute the phrase Black Bast'ds with something along the lines of Dirty Bast'ds...even more now that club is recruiting coloured players... who themselves could interpret the song as having racist tones...
  15. That would be good...Was hoping the post regarding Jordan Greenridge was for real as he looks like an even better prospect than Dipo was...surely somethings got to happen in next couple of days
  16. Pity if that's the case...I would've liked to have seen a bit more of him as thought he showed up well against Stranraer
  17. What's happend with the lad Ethon Archer...is he still around the club or has it beeb decided he's not what we're after...
  18. I don't disagree...but he's only worth what someone is prepared to pay...if we let him go with a 25% sell on clause and he later sold for £1m...that would be worth another £250k to us...making £400k in total... if we don't sell him and he's unhappy and has a crap season and at end of season goes for nothing we end up losers again... there's no rush to sell him at moment unless we are looking for revenue for new players...but I would definitely consider lower sale price for a good sell on clause...
  19. That's encouraging...two of the new signings on the score sheet...
  20. If £150k is all that's on the table...I'd be tempted to take it but add a healthy sell on clause...say in region of 20-25%
