  1. Games off, as per laws of the game, Talbot asked for postponement. Am sure Talbot would hav preferred the fame to be played but why would they want to jeopardise the chance of victory, just to get a game played. Going to be a busy schedule for them now til end of season. Any team with an "epidemic" would do the same and it just happens to coincide at the time of mass public hysteria about a virus.
  2. If extreme weather causes cup games to be postponed, surely decision should be ALL games are postponed.
  3. Aye, cany hav the wind a leveller, eh? Still, I only asked why as early an inspection?
  4. Why as early an inspection? Teams and players will all be relatively local and a later inspection time would give the pitch a better chance to become playable. Forecast has to be not too bad for 2mora.
  5. All training cancelled 2nite, so not looking hopeful for 2mora
  6. If I was Ian...the name wud be Cumnock Ian or CumnockIan. U keep thinking i am Ian, if it appeases u [emoji106]
  7. [emoji23][emoji23] tickets?!? Think uv got the wrong idea o the name [emoji106]
  8. Talbot fans still see this as a big game, if they didny then why do they boast after the wins and in the lead up to the game? Kidding ursel on, if u think beith v talbot is a bigger game.
  9. Yep, i see the hospitality area is well attended on the occasions i am ther, and am sure thats the case most home games. Am sure the midweek game v Talbot will attract similar numbers as some of the lesser saturday games, maybe not as many as we would like if it was a saturday game. The way it has been stated previously, is that this game bein played midweek would b a massive dent to coffers for Cumnock, which is the issue I have, we shouldnt be reliant on 1 game.
  10. Time will tell. If we are relying on that one saturday fixture to generate sponsorship income then we have severe problems in the way the club is being run
  11. How much will we lose in sponsorship? I think the £1000 quoted will be way off, as thats based on nobody taking up sponsorship of the game. Can you confirm that Cumnock make £1000 profit from all games?
  12. No idea why certain Cumnock fans on here have an issue wi a Wednesday game against Talbot. Gone are the days when these games attracted big crowds and wont return until we get competitive again. Regarding the park being block booked, am quite sure the agreement is in place that ALL block bookings will be subject to postponement, if the pitch is required for a game(am sure these bookings are cancelled at start of season and end of season for midweek games, so no sure why Debruary would be any different) To mention Killie v Rangers on the tele will hav an effect on the crowd...really?!?! Am no sure o many Cumnock/Talbot fans that would prioritise that fixture over the junior derby but I may be wrong. I for one look forward to a midweek derby under the floodlights and only hope there will be more to come.
