It's in our DNA.
The moaning at refs and linos starts early on and is counterproductive in terms of 50/50 decisions - it also lasts nearly the whole game and even at 4-0 up we dispute a throw in decision when the game is safely won

It is and there is cover, the old Community Centre is in the process of being demolished.
Thanks Burnie

Dunno docherty complained at the time and even talking to another player after the game thought he was a dick. Unless I missed something I didnt see anything untoward your manager lost his notebook. Oddly it was the first half he was losing the plot. Just get over it enjoy your win and gemmill is a scumbag
Forget the insults, fouls, ref's decisions, gestures etc this was a decent hard fought game contested by 2 good teams - was impressed by Camelon 9 and 11 - tough game and good to edge it but long way to go

Wasn’t really happening for him at Bo’ness to be honest, but aw the best etc.
Leaves us even less options at the back though.Think Syme could have done a job at LB and good luck to him

The BU's were looking good playing 5 a sides in the cages at the reccy this evening. Gemmell even attempted a Cruyff turn.
Watched it for 20 mins and good session, players in good spirits and some slick passing - good workout before Saturday

That's what you call a true BU. Well done Michael.
Flight back from Munich will make interesting travel expenses this week b.ut fair play to Gemmell for making the game - disappointing to be sent off for an invisible tackle though - and well done to the players and management for a wonderful run and deserved cup win

Max’s man management got the players going and how well they responded. We do like to make it hard for ourselves but our fitness and work ethic has got us through quite a few games. So that’s 15 wins on the bounce for him, not a bad start.
Agreed response and attitude coming back from 2-1 and 3-2 down and winning was excellent and great entertainment

Looking forward to visiting LTHV this weekend. Lothian Thistle HV lost 4-0 to Jeanfield Swifts in the league cup yesterday but that means little.
Mon the BU's !!!
Busy area tomorrow with 18000 at Tynecastle and 40000 at Murrayfield on top of the travelling BU fans

That lack of clarity stems from people still looking at the unofficial website! It aint rocket science people, if you want the correct info, go to the real site, not the ego trip version.
A good few people missed ko so they must have been reading the "ego trip " site - thanks to AHeid for confirming 2pm earlier today meaning I was there for 2pm

Good crowd ?
Decent crowd despite lack of clarity re ko - good to see some old faces returning to Newtown many of whom turned out for both clubs - good turn out for a player who gave his all wherever he was asked to play - well taken hat trick for Chris ans sure more to come

Yes , 1-0 at Shotts with an Archie Meikle winner.
Archie was a natural goal scorer and later a good coach at Avon Star

Glasgow replay was at Saracen Park, home of Ashfield.
Was game eventually won at Shotts? That BU team should have gone much further

Definitely the 15th now
1994 saw a triumph in the Fife and Lothians Cup. It all started with a 5-0 win at Lochore Welfare. The team was : Lawson, Hoggan, Meldrum, McLennan, McLean, Fraser, Allison, Burns, Gallagher (Dalton), Whyte, McLaren. Stuart Gallagher scored a double, with the others coming from George Allison, Mark Whyte & Jimmy Burns.
1966 saw the first of 3 Junior cup-ties with Larkhall Thistle. This one ended 0-0 at Newtown.
1983's run to the Junior Cup Final was being stalled as again we drew 1-1 with Brechin Victoria, in a home replay.

First Larkhall game was 2-2 away I think - then 0-0 before 2 further replays one ending 3-3 after extra time - 1 replay was at Shotts and the other in Glasgow ( Petershill ? ) after 53 yrs could be wrong but we got through in the end to face Armadale in an interesting tie

He is my uncle and he still lives in Grangemouth, currently in his 92nd year.
He also played for the Rose.Remember Bobby refereeing 70's / 80's - strict but efficient and liked a bit of banter on the pitch

A head has rolled, correctly on this occasion. Carrying out an internal witch-hunt isn't going to change anything.
Good luck to the new secretary, he is going to need it.
Not been a good week off the park but we have turned a corner - the fixture board has been updated and Dunipace, Haddington, 6th October and 2.30 pm have finally been replaced by Bonnyrigg, 3rd November, 2 pm - now if we could similarly fix the defence!

Defiant, fighting display and well worth at least a draw. To finish the game with only 9 players ( including only 1 natural defender in Syme) was a great achievement and we probably deserved to win - reaction at end both on and off the park was tremendous

Why don't you go to view cinema in livi surely cheaper than cineworld. I get cheap tickets for cineworld through work so it's worth it for me.
Or he could go to his local cinema, the Hippodrome in Bo'ness ( cheaper and better atmosphere )

Now I know that both Wright and McKenzie were absent today - both at weddings - why wasn't Rintoul given a chance. Keast was then injured taking the penalty and had to go off- why wasn't Snowdon given the chance to atone for his last penalty miss? - and we replace him with a defensive midfielder and still no Rintoul. He then substitutes Prentice for Watt - who IMO did not look fit - still no Rintoul. Now I don't know if Jacobs had taken a knock but to substitute him for Gray was IMO a poor move as the guy is not fit.
Rintoul has bags of energy and would have been an ideal target for an out ball but no he brings on two unfit players in Watt and Gray. If we were 4 or 5 up yes but hanging on 2-1 it was madness.
My MOTM split between Gemmell and Morgan. As Sheep says 3 pts and I agree but the man management in that game was terrible.
Hunter6 where are you?
Jacobs did indeed seem to twist his knee when his attempted clearance was blocked and no surprise he was subbed. Morgan is an important player for us and pleased he scored - motm

Absolutely brilliant tonight. Could give any of the BU players MOTM but has to go to Ross Campbell for the second hat-trick in a row.
Excellent all over the park against a decent LTHV side and agree with MOTM Ross Campbell the free scoring centre back ( well supplied by Morgan's deliveries into the box )

Less stressful of course. If we were scoring a few more goals which our play has merited in many of the single goal wins
