Despite his obvious misgivings and a severe lack of effort at times this season, the way we were actually deliver the ball to him and gain some respite was an absolute blessing ; anchoring things in the middle and allowing a sort of connection between the disparate defence and dismal attack at that time. The first 50 mins or so in the Aberdeen game without him starting were absolutely dire. Absolute sham that we sold him once again for pennies but again may not have paved the way for signing someone like Nelson.

Agree with this. Was putting in a few more incisive balls in comparison to Dales but would not criticise his performance either as he put in a great amount of work and was undone by a wonder save!

Seems to be a semblance of hope coming back... Just have to hope big chipper and his lads don't bring us plummeting back to earth on Saturday. Best career move Hendry could make would be heading back to us. Either that or a move down to the lower leagues in England where he will not be under as much scrutiny.
