A win without preforming too well. Plaudits to Callum but second was not one to shout about. Could have been three; and a few chances once he was replaced. Think Alloa will be here again next season. Not threatened with the relegation spectre that was lurking for them.

Recreation Park has offered little for us in recent times; even when we have travelled with optimism. Hoping for a better day come Saturday.

A time ago but Callum Fordyce got a straight red v Raith at Stark's for a less cynical challenge and that was reduced to a yellow., after appeal. It was a few yards into our half, breaking upwards after a corner. Absolutely no malice. I suppose it is a matter of degree; and official's subjective interpretation.

The word that McInroy has gone elsewhere is pretty much what I expected. The destination less so. Pretty much concur. We have not been used to losing of late but we are certainly stretched. Unless momentous signings in the next 48 hours change that at all. Perhaps not....
