  1. Totally agree with your post Drooper. Now, get yourself along to watch The Sons with your missus next season. Cheers
  2. Nice one. Fingers crossed In recent months the Reporter has been far superior in their coverage of Sons, used to be the Lennox Herald, changed days.
  3. Don't think Sons sell any scarves like that mate. Only ones are the traditional 'bar' scarves with DFC crest at either end which are pretty nice, around £9 from the stadium.
  4. Yes. These are good times for Sons, just need Mr Murray to seal the deal for another year, fingers crossed.
  5. Home kit has been ordered, but (black) away kit hasn't impressed the heid bummer with the trim being yellow and not Gold. No idea when new kit will be seen/released, sorry. Stay tuned
  6. Re- new kit update, Black away kit has hit a snag, its got yellow trim instead of Sons' Gold colour. Top Brass unhappy. (rightly so, Gold is the colour) Await further instruction. Kapiche
  7. Sorry to disagree, but the current shirts' fabric is more akin to the low grade fake shirts that you can buy abroad on market stalls. For what its worth I think the Surridge kits we had (gold wi black pin stripes and the white one with diagonal gold & black band were cracking)
  8. Home kit will be similar to current one we wear, White with a gold/black/gold chest band, made by Joma though so quality of fabric should be far better. Away kit to be Black, so I've heard. Looking forward to seeing it too, current one is nice, retro styling but awful quality. Also hope our club "shop" gets decent amounts of stock in for a change next season.
  9. I'm intrigued. Purely out of interest, you started off with a lovely DFC crest as an avatar, now its "old firm related", zombies crest, zombies this & that, "Love Hibs but hate Butcher"? Mine, its Paulie Walnuts because I look like him. Lets keep things Sons is all I'm trying to say. Nae offence and all that.
  10. I think Ian Murray will be happy to stay 1 more year, pit his wits against Hearts and Rangers, raise his profile even further should we finish a Championship team again.
  11. I hope the lad brings his big "Sons of the Rock" flag on Saturday among others. Lets have our own party up there, we've had a brilliant season and the players deserve good backing for their efforts. Come on The Sons
  12. That's very creative, but its just too "busy". White shirt with a gold/black/gold chest band, similar to what Sons wear just now. Nudge, wink.
  13. Yeah. Home shirt is Sons' design spec (which the manufacturer charges a bit more for) the away will be a Joma "off the shelf" kit, a standard design, available in a variety of colours. I like our current kit, 1970's style, but its pretty poor quality to be honest.
  14. Lets hope so. Another year please Ian. For any fitba shirt enthusiasts, next seasons kit is by Joma (obvious I know, what with most of Sons training gear this season made by Joma) Anyhow, home kit is basically the same as this seasons, white with the black & gold band, better quality fabric though and Away kit will be black.
  15. Raith keeper Robinson is on Sons' radar I'm hearing.
  16. For sure. The atmosphere definitely needs improving, considering how well the team are doing, the players deserve good backing at home.
  17. Agree. Plenty of grounds have one these days. 50-100 Sons fans would make a decent racket at home matches. Certainly drown out the screeching bint and all the moaners in our crowd....
  18. Indeed. Agree on both points. We could at least raise a couple of songs at home matches surely. Hang the big flags up on the fence behind the Goal.
  19. The daft, big bint who lets out the ear-piercing screech whenever the opposition Goalie kicks the ball out is the limit. She does it when the opposing team names are being read out too.
  20. How about..."he's tall, he's thin, he dances down the wing....Paul McGinn, Paul McGinn".....repeat to fade.
  21. A few Dumbarton fans thought that about Morton last night. We got humped. Morton played very well. Hopefully we'll beat you Wasps down at The Rock this Saturday though.
  22. I'd love to run past him and tweak his beard. Imrie played well last night, he is capable. Perhaps a decent manager would get the best of him, more often?
  23. Edit- I would keep Ewings. Before he got injured, he was looking to be coming onto a game and being our No.1 Bye,bye Grindlay, one too many crazy header/clearance/passes.
