  1. Let's just stick with Tennant's Lager and Belhaven Best and keep life simple.
  2. Understand from my sister that they have only moved whilst repair work is being done on the old church.
  3. Heard a whisper that we are only paying 20% of Luca's wage, and that came from a good source.
  4. Any menton with regards to the social club?
  5. Hope not, otherwise TMWNN, will surely have a lot to answer for. Whatever has happened to him?
  6. I don't think that we have planning permission yet, even for a West Stand. We have I think, got planning for a structure, to replace the old farm house that will be for Directors only and that will have only 40 seats.
  7. Nathan do you know if we have Sergei Baltacha's grandson playing for one of our youth teams? I think Sergei played for St.Johnstone a number of years ago.
  8. What the hell have you been drinking? Obviously too much.
  9. If I remember correctly when Clyde sold Shawfield to the Greyhound people they did so on the understanding that they could pay a small rent and continue to play there. However the Greyhound people increased the size of the Greyhound track from 6 lanes to 8 lanes. By doing so the football park became to narrow for Senior football and hence the reason that Clyde left Shawfield. There is no way that Clyde could buy Shawfield back and redevelope it to accomodate football. Better to stay where they are without Mr.G.
  10. There is also a young man who name is I think, Craig Thomson, who is playing for Cowdenbeath, and was playing for Edinburgh City last season who seems to have flown under the radar. He was at Hearts at the time of his offence.
  11. Keep to the outside lane and come off at Charing Cross
  12. I was talking to a member at the game today and he told me that he had e-mailed the CEO in January and it took her 3 weeks to reply to him, but of course she was very busy with recruitment at that time.
  13. Well said Diehard, an86's comments are again over the top. As we do not have an out and out goalscorer we cannot score goals. That is the fault of the club, not the players.
  14. Well, an old man like me can only say what I have said. Perhaps when the President sends out his next letter to all you guys who are Members, he may well tell you, or maybe not. Certainly the transfer window was a lost chance to sign a goalscorer.
  15. "The root cause" of our problems is that we do not score enough goals, end of story. The players do not go out to lose games or to only draw games, or not to try in games, they go out to try and win games, if for no other reason to increase their pay packet with a winning bonus every week. However, as we do not have a prolifick goalscorer in our team, we have drawn 15 games, a lot of them 1 each, I think, and please remember, we have only lost 3 games all season. "The root cause" is we cannot put the ball in the back of the net.
  16. I understand that the young man at Cambuslang only agreed to sign for us, because we agreed to let him stay at Cambuslang until the end of the season. Other clubs were after him but wanted him right away. Noticed that Tommy Orr scored again for Stenhousemuir yesterday. I think he has scored more goals himself this year than our team has. He was worth taking a chance on in the transfer window.
  17. So what you are saying, is pay them, and if they are no good sack them, even if they have only worked for a day.
  18. What makes you think that? A few examples please. Sergeant Wilson has explained what he knows, now you tell us how you know better than him.
  19. Not with the opportunities that we are making week in week out and missing.
  20. I take it that is the party line Nathen, as you are one of those on the inside. Lets just ignore the fact that 25 year old Mr. Orr, has scored more goals than anyone at QP this season and that if he had been playing for use, he may have scored many more with the chances that we are making each week and missing.
  21. Good point and I agree, but qpsnapper is saying that because Orr has been at a lower level we should not take a chance with him. Nonsense.
  22. How many goals has he scored for Stenhousemuir this season? As for him scoring below our level, we seem to be hoping a young man from Cambuslang Rangers, at least three levels below us, is going to score a lot of goals for us next year. Sorry about getting the facts wrong re Henderson guys but I am getting old.
