Played against them in their old park on the Glasgow Road when the O'Brien brothers and played for them. Always a good game on a tight park, Only been to the new ground once and keep forgetting that they are so close to Hampden. Wee bit tight for car parking on a match day.

I would be happy to see Pollok make it to the SPFL as it could be a great local derby for QP but they would have to spend a bit of money to bring it up to SPFL standard.

Yes I meant SPFL games. Most Junior teams in the west of Scotland charge £5/6. How do you think their fans would react to having to pay £12/15 in SPFL2.

As a QP fan you had about 400 at that game. My esteemed QP fan who said otherwise is talking through a hole in his head, as usual .

You are correct. As a QP fan I often see Pollok when the senior season is over. What is the view of the Junior fans regards to the cost to get into senior games. The cost is £15 at QP games and I think Albion Rovers are the cheapest at £12 per game.

I think that you might be surprised with what happens with the SFA over Hampden. As I understand, reading between lines, the club will not be allowed to play at Lesser, by the Council, until all the work is done.

Obviously all you young guys will be talking about recent goalies and as a QP fan I agree with the above but I am old enough to remember Ronnie Simpson,Bobby Brown,Bobby Clark and Jimmy Cruikshank playing for QP and they all went on to play for Scotland.

Think I read in a newspaper a few weeks ago the the QP option was for 3 leagues of 14. Does anybody on this site know if that is true?

Only named them because you said that you were on the Committee. However from TMWNN's reaction to your post re your Committee 'phone in, I suspect that you were lying and you are not on the Committee. At least I am giving an honest opinion about things. You are right about people in their 30s as they do not have the experience of the world but I am sure there are Members out there, in their 50s who could do a good job for us and would bring fresh ideas to the club, like the current President ( in his 60s ) and the incoming one, who both have been brilliant in the last 12 months. Didn't mention their names as I did not want to be accused of being below the belt again.

It wont young man, it's just I don't like people telling lies. Would not call Andy Mc or Jim Hastie lads. Time they both retired and let some younger people on. People like TMWNN who is full of enthusiasm.

Hope you are being honest with that statement. I have no problem with Committee men being on this forum, it is just that TMWNN keeps denying that he is.

Well said TMWNN and thank you for that information. No matter how much you deny it you are quite clearly a member of the Committee by the way you speak so confidently on many matters on this forum.

Your fears are totally unjustified and you should apologise immediately to the gentleman concerned.

Essentially the club set out with the best of intentions to remove risk by issuing the instruction to search everyone going through the turnstiles but due to unavailability of resources and an unwillingness to apply the policy at the main entrance the club has sleepwalked into implementing a policy which discriminates between males and females and members and supporters. That's it in a nutshell. Unbelievable!!!!!

Just pay your £5 and smile, that will upset them.

Well said Boris. Despite being warned, I understand, by a Past President of the club about the SFA lease on Hampden, he and others just buried their head in the sand and got on with chasing the Gretna six. Great t-shirt by the way and of course all money they raised by selling it was donated to the club for the youth system.
