  1. Being an elderly season ticket holder I thought I had seen everything at QP, however, on Tuesday at the game against Partick Thistle I was quite concerned late on in the game with the behaviour of one of our young committee men.  He was sitting in the back row of the stand overlooking the halfway line, dressed in his QP suit with the club badge on it and his club tie, so it was obvious to all concerned that he could not be anything but a club official.   Maybe I am just old fashioned but I thought QP committee men were always on there best behaviour at games, but in the last few minutes of the game, when Thistle were putting on a sub, he started screaming at the referee that there had been a rule change regarding subs and that the player coming off could now leave the park at any point and that he did not have to leave at the halfway line. When they made another sub a few minutes later he again screamed at the referee about the same thing and that he, the ref, was allowing Thistle to waste time, whether the ref was right or wrong I was shocked at this performance by a QP official and when I say he was screaming I am not kidding on.  I don't know what paper he reads but on Sunday a reporter in the paper that I read had a small article about this new rule saying that while in theory it sound good, that in actual fact it could be a nightmare in certain games that are played in Scotland, particularly in old firm games, if players had to walk all round the park to get to the tunnel on the other side but the good thing about this new rule, he said,  is that referees are allowed to use their discretion in this matter, so in effect on Tuesday night the referee did not do anything wrong.

Oh dear what a fool ( in my opinion ) our committee man has made of himself, not only with his screaming, but also in the fact that the ref did nothing wrong

  2. The Committee should not accept the suggestion that the SFA will lend us money to rebuild Lesser, they should demand that the SFA pay a deposit of £1,000,000  when they sign the deal and that would pay to start the process.

  3. Hello fellow supporters, I read all you write and have only made three previous posts, however, regarding us becoming a part-time professional club, is in my opinion, not going to happen.

Where is the money going to come from?

I think that our club is going to have to look very very carefully at how it is run. I doubt if we will be able to maintain our youth system in its current form and that we may end up with only two youth teams, U/16s and U/18s plus a reserve team.

Money will be saved by doing this and there will also be, I fell members of the staff,  at all levels, who will be made redundant.

My reasoning for this is very simple, when we move out of Hampden, we will loose an income of just over £300k per year.

We will never make that up through gate money, never ever.
