Sacrilege comparing Cameron MacPherson to Gary Farquhar. You need to have talent to begin with to waste it. Farquhar definitely had that, scored a few brilliant goals at a time when we had some fantastic players in midfield. Was also a bit of a “character”. It’s not MacPherson’s fault we signed him but he’s everything that’s been wrong with us the last few seasons, can’t wait until he leaves.

Liam Gordon could always try positioning himself properly so he can head away aimless long punts forward instead of letting them sail over his head and therefore avoid having to engage in clumsy foot races with opposition forwards. Just an idea.

Don’t want to come on here and lambast a guy from my own team but I’m astounded by some of the comments about Robinson so can’t help myself. Slow & ponderous, refuses to play into space, a liability. He’s far from alone in not being good enough sadly but if we are settling for that then f**k me. I know the reasons for the state we are in and am trying to be patient but it’s very hard to watch your team when don’t really like any of the players. There’s nobody before the game I’m thinking looking forward to seeing them play today. Every fan has their favourite players and will see no wrong in them. I genuinely don’t know who my favourite player is now. It’s just a long list of people I don’t like.

Agree @nelsjfc, we could do with proper quality in those three areas. Unlikely we will get it at this stage but a properly decent striker that can get us up the pitch would make a huge difference. Might be Kane does that but how reliable is he going to be after so long out? Another pacey winger would be ideal and definitely think we are still short at centre half, there are concerns over all three of them for different reasons, McClelland obviously a young guy that seems fine (Ross County away blip aside) but relying on Gordon & Considine for the whole season doesn't seem great.

I for one don't give a flying f**k about either this so called "derby" match or Dundee football club as a whole. I'll be sure to post this another 456 times before kick off just so you know how little of a f**k I give about them.

It still annoys me to this day that Jamie Adams had his own song. Nowhere near worthy of such an accolade. Can also remember a fairly dark time when we’d not scored for about three months and there were people on WAP saying we should play him up front. The forum never recovered from that.
