  1. Rooney was being very vocal today, bossing the back 5, and not being eloquent about it. Thought it right to play him in the back 3 with McCart missing. would have been criminal to start with Muller / Ambrose / Dendonker, who would have totalled about 10 appearances between them in the back 3 setup that is so enjoyed by Davivson. Thought Rooney enjoyed the game and despite the stats on "whoscored", he won about 15 to 20 aerial battles he encountered today apart from 2 that Sheridan won against him in the 2nd half. He was the leader at the back today when it really mattered. The Dundee goal came from yet another setplay when Sweeney back pedalled away from Ambrose to get a free header.
  2. Now with Scotland & Eufa away from the big Hampden, do we expect an announcement on the supposed AGM that was to take place before the end of June. I've not recieved accounts or anything else via email or post, or has this been intentional by those running the club to yet again keep us like mushrooms (in the dark & sh!t). 20 days till our first 'home' League Cup game, no idea of Membership prices for the season or if members or season ticket holders will be allowed into matches. Nothing has really changed with regard to keeping members informed over the past (insert your own timeline) Years.
  3. something doesn't look right between the snips of these 2 photo's..... same buses, cars, players & people wandering about carpark in same but a covering on the west terrace, one black one white.... early photo shopping....
  4. Just from looking at National Library of Scotland and their map collection, here is a Map Tiler -topo showing the route of a spring / burn under hampden. It fed into the MallsMire Burn at Aitkenhead road. on older maps of the area there was a well that fed this spring / burn (roughly where the pin is placed)
  5. first vertical striped shirts Stoke 1883 Wolves 1883 Burnley 1884 St Mirren 1884 If you want longevity in a strip design Queenspark - small horizontal black white hoops - 1873 Blackburn Rovers - half vertical panels (slight differing shades of blue though) -1878
  6. can't decide If I like this or not. All I seem to see is a goulish face dripping down with the badges as eyes.
  7. Any word on voting for Player of the Year & Young Player from the club yet, since the season has finished.
