Looking at that side i wonder if we might change to a 4-3-3 with Gogic pushed into midfield? Hopefully no hoofball tonight, we have three guys up top better with the ball at their feet, playing against 4 big killie defenders the long ball is definitely not the way to go.

elvis must be pished, normally he'd be predicting relegation from here. -
We have a good drainage system and the rain isnt as heavy as it was. I think if this is called off it'll be due to travel conditions.

Interesting reading this thread, IMO we have the same issue with SMISA, with a lack of democracy and accountability. -
Its been stop start all night, now its just stopped.

And this is part of the problem, beginning to think Robinson has it in his contract that he must play with 3 at the back. With the players currently available, we can no longer effectively play that system, hence our recent poor results.

I think its a big stretch to say he's far better. From what i've seen, all our strikers bring different qualities but all lack consistency, which is why they play with us. Mandron is better than expected, Grieve works hard but lacks composure, Nahmani looks to have goals in him but hasnt featured much so there must be a reason for that, Olusanya started the season great and has fallen away, Jamieson i think has a future in the game but probably at a lower level. Ayunga is the best at making space and getting a shot away, but his goal return last season was only 3 in 19, Mandron has the same this season in much fewer games. -

With Strain out, we no longer have the players to effectively play 3-4-3. I'd go to 4-3-3, something like Hemming; Fraser, Bolton, Taylor, Tanser; O'Hara, Gogic, Baccus; Mcmenamin, Ayunga, Kiltie. -

Time to change things - i'd change to a back 4 with Strain out, as i think the 3-4-3 only works with him on one side and Tanser on the other. 4-3-3, hopefully give us more control in central midfield and would have everyone playing in their natural position. Bolton in to partner Gogic at the back with O'Hara, Baccus and Boyd-Munce all in midfield. Has to be worth a try given the turgid shite we've served up the last few weeks. -

Ideally yes, hopefully we can but the tanking at Dens has maybe made me more anxious. Still, if 5th and probably Europe is our ambition, we only need 30 points from 25 games to reach the Hibs total from last season. This team should be capable of that. -
Ross County vs St. Mirren

Surely the benefit of it is not mainly for home fans but to benefit from away fans who cant get to the game, a midweek game in November would be ideal for that. At say £12 each, you might get 2000 watching tomorrow night, thats 24k. Profits would go up if playing better supported teams like Hearts, Hibs or Aberdeen. -

Its difficult to win games in this league, every team can beat every other team. I think maybe three wins and a couple of draws would be a decent return. Tomorrow night is a difficult game, a point wouldnt be a bad result in that one. -

Hemming has definitely won us more points than he has lost this season. His saves v Dundee, Hearts, Motherwell and Livi stopped 3 points turning into 1. Against that, his mistakes against Aberdeen and Killie could have cost us points, but he is young and you would hope he will become more consistent as he gains experience. I've gone from being unsure of him to being a fan. I'd go as far to say he's probably second best of our recent keepers, only behind King Vaclav. -

I dont think i've ever enjoyed a game against Livi, they are always a shitfest. That big centre forward they have Guthrie must be one of the worst footballers in the league. -

I think CBM would be better in a 3 man central midfield. He doesnt have the pace required in a 2, but on the other hand he is the best passer of a ball we have and best set piece taker, so that compensates. -

A fantastic assist it was too, playing on the left wing. Maybe we should switch him over to that side. -

A bit of revisionism going on there about the Morecambe season under Robinson / Adams. Robinson achieved 30 points from 32 games that season, Adams 12 points from 13, so virtually the same. -

Football must be unique in that punching a staff member in front of a number of witnesses results not only in no sacking, but also no disciplinary action. It is a strange one, over the piece he seems to get results, despite the fact he is a bit of a dick by all accounts. Hope you get a new manager bounce v Killie but it then falls flat in midweek.
