This season against the city clubs we've won 4, drawn 2 and lost only one so far. -

Dundee are your rivals this season, not Hearts. -

I actually thought Stav had something to offer, but we still have Ayunga, Scott, Mandron, Jamieson, and Olusanya up front, plenty of options. -

To be honest, its all relative. Missing out on a striker, with the only possible consequence being finishing outwith the top 6 or not qualifying for europe, when 9 years ago we lost our best player and replaced him with Yoann feckin Arquin to ensure our relegation was a formality. Killie will just feck up Europe anyway and lose to some part time Welsh mob again anyway. Give me Albion Rovers away in the League Cup groups any day of the week. -
Fair play, very good transfer window for you, which should all but guarantee premiership football next season. Just hope it isnt enough to get into top 5 or 6.

St Mirren v Rangers: Saturday 27th @ 12:30

He's been hanging about with Alex Rae too much. -
Trying to buy a ticket for the game on the 3rd - had to register, put my date of birth thing involvjng some archaic scroll back thing that took ages, then had to identify images containing traffic lights, once registered then had to come out of that and go into a separate link for away tickets, bought them and got to checkout, then got told i had to link my purchase to my account, thought i'd done that and then got to a screen where it didnt allow me to complete the purchase. Its taken me nearly an hour and still not got tickets. WTF is that all about? I'm trying to buy 2 tickets, not the whole club! Other Saints fans have had the same issue.

St Johnstone v Aberdeen 24 January 7.45pm

I think Beaton has a soft spot for Aberdeen, also the ref in the double hit penalty game. -
I always thought Reilly would go on to bigger and better things, shame that his career has taken the trajectory it has.

How long have you been a St Mirren fan? I'm old enough to remember us losing 2-0 at home to Dumbarton in the Cup when we were third in the league. -

Aberdeen v St Mirren, farewell to 2023.
Hendo replied to pozbaird's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
The evidence for this is pretty weak. If their schedule caused tiredness, what is the excuse yesterday, as they had ten days free before it and St Mirren had played twice in that time? The high number of games in hand also mean they will still likely be playing twice a week well into the new year. -

He can't hear you, he's still trying to get out of Alex Gogic's back pocket. -

Aberdeen were behind in their last two home games and came back to win. Just hope the penalty miss doesnt prove crucial. I dont want to come over all elvis but i'd still probably take a point from this. -

That line up screams a 4-3-3 but you just know we'ĺ still play 3 st the back with someone shoehorned into the right wing back slot. -
Looking at that side i wonder if we might change to a 4-3-3 with Gogic pushed into midfield? Hopefully no hoofball tonight, we have three guys up top better with the ball at their feet, playing against 4 big killie defenders the long ball is definitely not the way to go.

elvis must be pished, normally he'd be predicting relegation from here. -
We have a good drainage system and the rain isnt as heavy as it was. I think if this is called off it'll be due to travel conditions.

Interesting reading this thread, IMO we have the same issue with SMISA, with a lack of democracy and accountability. -
Its been stop start all night, now its just stopped.

And this is part of the problem, beginning to think Robinson has it in his contract that he must play with 3 at the back. With the players currently available, we can no longer effectively play that system, hence our recent poor results.

I think its a big stretch to say he's far better. From what i've seen, all our strikers bring different qualities but all lack consistency, which is why they play with us. Mandron is better than expected, Grieve works hard but lacks composure, Nahmani looks to have goals in him but hasnt featured much so there must be a reason for that, Olusanya started the season great and has fallen away, Jamieson i think has a future in the game but probably at a lower level. Ayunga is the best at making space and getting a shot away, but his goal return last season was only 3 in 19, Mandron has the same this season in much fewer games.
