For the money Broxburn have spent they should be doing much better. There is only so many times the excuse of time to gel can be used. We’re now going into October!
Hoofball or playing to exploit the space left by Musselburgh …… depends what perspective you look at it i suppose. From my perspective I’d go with the later as it got us two goals. Musselburgh are a very good footballing team and scored two cracking goals. All the best for the rest of the season.
Are the players follow suit? I heard a lot of the players were from the west. You’d hope they’d stay and fulfil their potential as it’s a more than decent squad.
Books boy for dissent for throwing the ball into the ground (which is a yellow card offence), then says it’s a lack of respect and in the same sentence tells the player to shut up when the player asks him a question. [emoji23][emoji23]
Very fair summary indeed. I think the disappointing thing for me was the heads of the Blackburn players went down after the 3rd Tranent goal. A steep learning curve for a young Blackburn side who matched Tranent for 75mins. Referee was shocking for both sides. Blatant foul on the keeper for Tranent first goal. Ref booked Ian black for a tackle and then 10mins later let a Blackburn player away with the same thing. Tranent will definitely be up there in their conference this season.
