  1. Trying to buy a ticket for the away end, but it comes up as sold out. Does anyone know if it is sold out or is the ticket system not working.
  2. Commentary was good, and got all the thistle players names correct.
  3. I think he will benefit from playing with a better team this year. Falkirk were very poor last year.
  4. Time will tell if it was the correct decision. The strikers this season all should be scoring more as the midfield are creating significantly more chances. Last season service was awful. Just look at how keena performed under Holts time in charge. Let's see if the manager's signings live up to his expectations.
  5. Dowds is the only one who could go on loan as no other team in the division would touch Wilson or Ompreom.
  6. Thistle had sold 1900 season tickets last week. Also trying to hit the 2k target. I think this is going to be an exciting league this season, and hopefully we get to a few away games.
  7. Yes. Last season, as soon as you went to one upfront everything dried up. You are using the same one up front this season. I watched the Hamilton game on Saturday and did not count one chance created for a striker.
  8. If Falkirk signed their dream striker, what are you expecting to be different. They might be a better finisher, however the midfield and wide players need to create some opportunities fo them to score. The lack of service against the stronger teams, is just as big an issue.
  9. It does not matter how good a striker you are if there is zero supply to you . When you play one upfront to have to play the ball into goal scoring areas. I can't think of one chance that was created for the forwards today.
  10. The best four teams did not double up on Morrison, the just realised that he rarely went to the byline and crossed. He was more interested in cutting in and shooting from distance. He needs to work on his final ball, otherwise his trickery is pointless.
  11. Normally the squad numbers are a good indication of the starting line up. Nesbitt has the number 10 shirt, so I think you can expect him to be one of the starting 11.
  12. Realised that just as I hit the send button. Hopefully he is better than Callum Morrison
  13. He had one assist, which for a winger in the 1st division is pretty poor. Most of his goals were penalties.
  14. I was talking about service to your strikers as that looked poor in the games I watched. Most Falkirk fans thought Morrison was the best player in the league. Yes he chipped in with a few goals (including your penalties) but his number of assists is miles behind Joe Cardle and several other Thistle players.
