Appreciate that it does not look clever and no amount of me saying that Hearts Ladies were a side in transition. There are not may lady players to go round that would create a league with calibre from top to bottom. I would agree that it does not look great but he barely had a year with an already poor side. We have been there before with new managers working with poor squads. There will be no hiding space this time as he and Levien will be signing the squad. Maybe about half dozen of current squad to be kept and build from there.

Would this be the same Lowland League that asked Brechin to apply and then vote against us getting in. They can swim in their own juices.

I have no idea if Andy will be any good or not but he will get my backing. Appreciate it looks like a Hearts connection has got this over the line - so what? Time will tell. And if we end up with some Hearts cast offs, not bothered - its all about (is there anything else) results on the pitch and the way we play. Here's to new beginnings.

Unlike previous there is little coming out of the interim committee. I would have thought the Levien will have had some influence on appointment.

I note interview with interim chair that Lowland League asked if we'd be interested in joining. Said yeh, then they vote against it. Very odd behaviour and then we told it was our idea, at least that's how it was reported. Anyway on we go.

Appreciate there is a lot of change happening behind the scenes (as voted through on Monday). However wondered if we are getting any nearer to having on field issues settled?

In terms of incorporation, I have asked questions and gotten resposnes. My understanding is that all current season ticket holders will get 15 shares - lets say that is 150 folk it equates to a fair chunk of shares. Shares will then be sold - no idea of their worth, I will be purchasing. I too invested previously when the call came out but will not do it again unless change happens on Monday Yes initially the deal was that it would not happen if we were relegated but I know of several folk who got in touch with Hugh and said it did need to happen if for no other reason than the whole structure needed to change, sure investment will be impacted on but most crucially the management of the club will change. It has clearly become a busted flush. We are looking to be operating of a similar model to Arbroath who implemented something similar, doesn't seem to have done them any harm. Everyone who has been involved to date have the interests of Brechin at heart, there is a team of box standard supporters who have explored and discussed the incorporation model. You either trust their deliberations and presentation on Monday or don't. Ask questions. Brechin is hardly a metropolis with land at a premium so I dont think anyone will want to even buy the site and I think their will always be enough City supporters with shares that this will not happen. I for one will back the change.

Considering he resigned that post is about to leave the club, not sure how he does that.

What is bugging me most is the thought that other clubs with ambition need to take a place in the SPFL. What this in reality means is that someone (and they are free to do so) has launched a decent wedge at LL /HL clubs to get them up, Cove and Kelty particularly but Edinburgh with no ground does not incur the same cost as others so surely have a decent budget too. Rewind pre 4 years ago and we were a pretty successful club with championships and promotions in there. You don't get these without being ambitious. Alas like many PT clubs you are only a few poor decisions away form our position. Change is coming that should help rectify the situation.

Our team, at least in personnel has changed dramatically since that game. We have the potential to prevent them scoring but not so sure we have the ability to score.

It seems the world is backing Kelty and the press seem to be wetting themselves and the prospect of Ferguson being back in the SPFL. I struggle to come up with a counter argument other than Kelty believing the hype about just turning up or Brechin players realising they need to battle. Who knows but its a funny old game......

Not sure getting in is a good idea. Be pitch forks and bloody enrage supporters giving anything that moves a mouthful. Dont think this will help an already fragile team and a load of young guys who have not played in front of anyone before.

Not see fixture dates for the play off. I am assuming next Tue or Wed and then following Sat.
