  1. BBC reporting that executive committee will ratify the decision.
  2. This taken from the BBC report on the match says so much about what is wrong at Man United. “Brazilian wideman Antony cupped his ears at the Coventry fans at the end, even though United were 3-0 up when he replaced Alejandro Garnacho”. Honest to God what an incredible lack of self awareness. Antony is one of many who is the problem and never in a million years part of the solution at a basket case of a club.
  3. First Old Firm Scottish Cup Final since 2002. Must be plenty of opportunity to populate that script.
  4. It’s a very low bar but I actually thought it was one of his better post match interviews tbh. That’s not saying much mind you. For all it grates it’s also true that we just couldn’t afford to lose yesterday.
  5. Crucial win for Annan at Edinburgh and a 0-0 in Stirling v QOS. Keeps QOS 3 points ahead of Stirling and one ahead of Annan. It was key that we avoided defeat at Stirling and albeit it was a dreadful game at least we achieved that.
  6. Indeed. We shoehorn players into a system that doesn’t suit some of our better players rather than have a system that would get the best out of the players we have.
  7. Yes totally agree Gibson is better than McKechnie but as I said I thought he was really poor today. Gibson should get more starts in my view although he’s never a wing back in a million years. No question in my mind re Bartley. He’s an absolute charlatan.
  8. Gibson clearly has talent and to be fair to him he’s not a wing back but I thought he was awful today. The much maligned McKechnie offered more in his short period on. It was a dreadful game of football and it says it all for me that a player I absolutely don’t rate (McKay) was probably our best player.
  9. Hickey making “good progress”. Hickey update.
  10. Yep, not for a moment suggesting we should remotely be relying on this. Just making the point that it wouldn't be the major shock that some are suggesting if one of Annan or Stirling don't beat Edinburgh.
  11. Edinburgh had a good result to beat Montrose tonight. Maybe Annan and Stirling both beating Edinburgh isn't the certainty that many are assuming.
  12. Rory dismisses said rumours.
  13. Thanks for this. Our website had match info up which presumably came from Stirling. https://www.qosfc.com/news-6370 Happy enough to pay on the day but would prefer on-line option. I’ll keep a watch for further details
  14. Against my better judgement I’m planning to go to this “relegation 6 pointer”. Trying to buy ticket on line but coming up with this
  15. I expect that Reilly and Gibson will both start next week.
  16. For all tne negativity around Scheffler he’s a fantastic golfer Aberg confirms he’s an outstanding player. He’s fearless and he can go on to be an absolute superstar.
  17. I’m absolutely no fan of Bartley but you’re just guessing as to what any issue was.
  18. I don’t get this notion that Scheffler is a shoe in for this. He may well win it but a long way to go.
  19. Every QOS fan will recognise the potential for that run of results but be interesting to see what odds the bookies would give on that happening.
  20. Faldo has a huge amount of insight about playing Augusta but sadly he’s an absolute arsehole.
  21. So a bad day for Stirling with QOS and Annan both winning while they lose. Stirling v QOS a massive game next weekend while Annan visit Edinburgh. Quite possible all 3 could be on the same points after next weekends games.
  22. Very important win. My natural pessimism suggests we’ll lose at Stirling next week while Annan beat Edinburgh to leave all 3 teams on the same points with 2 games to go.
  23. Totally agree his game near the greens is dreadful. He should reflect that a level par round today would have had him only 5 shots behind. To me he looks distracted on the course. The 10th hole summed it up for me. Both he and Scheffler hit great 2nd shots. Rory misses a very makeable putt and of course Scheffler makes his. Scheffler is miles ahead of Rory atm.
