Learned a big lesson this season. Down to 10.3 last season, my lowest ever. Full of confidence, I bought a new driver. Lost all confidence off the tee. Swapped out for a different driver which was not much better. Handicap back up to 13.7, my old driver back in the bag and away to get a few lessons with the money I get back from selling the new driver. Onto next season!

Their first album was 2006 and there will certainly be those 30 - 45 year olds that were around for the debut but fell away but AM was massive for them in absolutely nailing them a completely fresh and younger fanbase. The streaming figures for AM smash the earlier stuff and for most of those new fans the earlier stuff is anchored around that particular time "Theres only music, so theres new ringtones" Top Shop Princesses and Smirnoff Ices. Probably doesn't hit the same as it did back then. Doing new stuff doesnt make them shit, they still made some cracking albums, you just dont like these particular ones and that's ok.

Not read the last few pages so the point may already be made but there is a very consistent theme coming from the players released. Lots of players taking thinly veiled shots. Unfair treatment, limited opportunities etc. Could be frustration at being released but it certainly doesn’t sound like it was a very happy camp.

The opportunity was there to win back lapsed fans or convince a few neutrals to swing the Rovers way but the team and the club just didn’t take it. They both made an arse of it. No sense of organisation outside the South Stand either. Lots of parents and kids sent back down to the office to buy a ticket having waited in the long queues to the turnstiles. Then fans herded round the ground. The club spent all week calling on the fans to come out and some how still managed to get caught out by the crowd.

Fife based one but definitely go to the links market. Often they’ll have a money bag from the bank full of scruffy fivers and 20p’s.
