I was at their game last week. They are shite. Started well against a rotten stenny and then let them back into it. Was awful viewing. It's really not. Not at these group stages anyway. I don't think a single Fan of any Club is gutted if they don't get through, all a bit meh.

To be fair, he never even looked up when he played the pass, so I think it was down to him. He takes a bad first touch, panics to pass whilst still looking at the ball, only lifts his head after it's released. Probably shouldn't have been put into that position, I agree, but could have been dealt with with ease.

I just checked myself there, their goal difference would stay the exact same, just get an extra point, meaning if we win our goal difference obviously will increase. If we win 1 0 and they draw 0 0, then all square with thistle and Spartans out, goes to goals scored, which again would keep us level with partick, then it goes to away goals scored which we have more of. Or just win by 2 goals and hope they draw. And nothing else comes into it.

So if you win on penalties you get 1 point and 1 goal added? Never knew that, thought it was just 1 point. Eta: I mean 1 point on top of the point for drawing the match.

If Spartans and Partick draw, and we win, then we top the group regardless of who gets their bonus point do we not?

I think Lang is a much better Player than that to not learn. At least next time a have a look up before passing across the face of goal, or better still, don't do it at all.

Thought last night was actually OK. Played some decent stuff in the first half and looked well on top the last 15. So frustrating watching the passes along the back line, craigen called it moments before the mistake for their goal. A mistake that will hopefully be learned from Alfie reminds me of hippolyte, flashes of utter brilliance and then in the same sweeping move can totally f**k it. Hopefully full time training will iron those issues out. Mcginn, sadly, looked anonymous, thankfully we have Spencer to come back in. Didn't even realise mcivor was on the pitch the first half. Would like to see Allan get a shout purely on The basis that I've not seen enough of him to make a judgement yet for whatever reason that is. Beat peterhead on Saturday and Spartans get any sort of result against Partick and ten we are through. Singing section looked class on the tele, well done.

Hopefully now that suspensions are out the road and another weeks rest for any that had knocks last week, we should see a stronger squad and hopefully, a decent and different line up.

We had enough chances to score about 6. Finishing those chances is where we need to improve massively. No idea what's going on with Morrison, instead of his usual blasting it over the bar he has now reverted to very limp attempts on goal, couple on Saturday and again last night, as if he has no power in his legs. Clear mistake for the goal, apart form that Spartans didn't look too troubling.

Maybe because it has less to do with hosting and more to do with content and delivery which would be club specific?

Do we know the reasons for the Change and are there any benefits?

McGlynn knows we need a right back, he has literally said as much. No idea where folk are getting this nonsense that he hasn't known we need a right back or tried to get one. I get the feeling some fans want any old shite as long as its there actual position. If we didn't have the money to get the quality he is after then surely this is when the loan market comes in and we could end up with a right back that we couldn't otherwise have afforded to sign.

Some of the best atmospheres I've witnessed were at German football games, all involved a drum and megaphone and the crowd loved it. Do it right and it doesn't have to be something to moan about. But yet again..... Falkirk fans.

And what about when Hartley was given the backing to bring in 17 players in a summer? Did that improve us or did we get worse?

Not really, we finished 5th 20/21 and then I thought it couldn't get worse, and then we finished 6th the next season. So there was no divine right to improve on a previously shite season.
