So Mackie, Tait & McGinn needing game time for a medal.

(If 10 is indeed the target?)

Think it was already stated it matters not a jot. The league gives the club 20 (?) medals and it's up to us who to dish them out to. If we want more we can pay for more.

Interesting split of opinions from Falkirk fans. Glad that some of you have given Montrose a bit of respect and think it may be a tough game. Although we have given you some tough tests over the last few seasons your team this season have done incredibly well. It was only a couple of seasons ago we won 3-0 at TFS with our assistant manager scoring the 3rd goal; a great day for all Mo fans.

I'd say you are the best side we have faced in the league all season.

  3. Morrison can end up top scorer in the team, league and whole of SPFL. No brainer for me. I feel we are in the position we are just now because of good we are in attack rather than how good we defend. Which is not a slight on how good we defend by any means. With 6 games to go we have already scored 12 more than dunfermline managed all last season.

Maybe I'm in denial then 🤣. I'm a 2XL on Scotland shirts but I'm wearing 4XL on O'Neills stuff! I intend to buy one on Saturday when making my way through to TFS from Ayrshire but I'm worried this will defo sell out and wanna order it ASAP.

I'm a large in all my clothing except this seasons away top which I have, which is a 2XL and fits perfect.

Spookily I was thinking about this as well this morning. I think he might well give them a half each, take one off at 50 minutes so he can get an ovation. I very much hope we are still invincible by the time Alloa comes around and the big crowd gets to celebrate that too. The only thing that's at the back of my mind is that final game at Brockville where we were unbeaten at home all season and Inverness ruined the party in that very last game with a 3-2 loss (with that one that crossed the line for a bye kick). Alloa are a very decent side and are very capable of giving us a game that day, especially if they need a win for a better play off position.

On another note I didn't realise that the south stand had already sold out for the Alloa game (in 2 months time!) so I got on this afternoon and bought 3 tickets for the main stand - looks like they are going fast too as I couldn't get any of the tickets in the seats I normally buy and had to settle for elsewhere. What a time to be alive...

On the other side of the coin, they may have already solidified there final position and put out a weakened team to rest for the playoffs.

All the comments turned into a book would make for interesting reading and could be a money spinner.  An alternative history of Falkirk FC 2011-2024

A Dundeebarry style adaptation of events would be quality.

(maybe just a reference for the older members of p&b that have been here that long)

Yeah I only watched it once didn't bother to go back over cos f**k Shartley lol, but IIRC there was 2 or 3 Cove players borderline and despite the linesman being probably in the wrong for giving one of them offside when it , it makes the decision much more understandable.

Aye, he is obviously still wrong but think as soon as the ball is launched back in the lino looks along the line and flags straight away as niang is off, even though it's burrell that goes for it

One of the worst offside calls I’ve seen in a while that. Mackie’s definitely a red card too. After last year’s farcical penalty situation can’t say we haven’t had our fair share of luck this season!

I don't think it's given because of burrell. When the ball is punted back in niang is offside and could of went for it, but burell did. Also looked zero complaints from the players either.

Whats decent pubs these days in Stirling aside from the Cold Beer Co or whatever Morrisons is called now? Might start in there but I believe it went a bit Danny Dyer last time out

Gutted I can't make it man, but I'd still head to Morrisons, place was full of Falkirk fans last time, good atmosphere pre game. Although with the rugby also on at that time, the place will be heaving. Most places will be with that taken into account actually. Be interesting to see how the polis handle the influx of navy blue this time.

Iv been in a couple of pubs where a proper, full scale eruption happened. Seen loads of pub brawls over the years but only two that were like that. It's equal parts hilarious and Terrifying. One of them in particular it was all my mates that were involved and me and another boy were standing when it all kicked off, shit flying everywhere, and I can remember us both looking around to see where we should get involved, but everyone was winning their individual battles... So we ended up standing there laughing at it all. Pure bedlam.

I always remember as a youngster my dad, for whatever reason, decided to change it up before a home game and took me into the drookit duck. I was pretty young at the time so was told to sit in the corner, before I knew it, place had a bunch of motherwell lads in putting the place up in the air, old Man had to shield me from the projectiles and tables flying about. Never really seen any other bother with Falkirk pre game in a pub.
