  1. A bit of over reaction here. All we have asked is for the management committee to consider finishing the league season on a ppg basis in the same way as the lowland and highland league have. To allow the establishment of a tiered league structure at tier 6 and 7 This is only if we can’t get to 50% of games played this season. It’s a mere suggestion to reconsider as the lowland league have done the stated position at the start of the season. A tiered structure of 16 teams in each league at tier 6 and 7 and a more structured pyramid being the aim and preference of a number of clubs. You can’t please everyone but if we don’t look at it as individual clubs surely all should agree it’s a better structure. At the end of the day the management committee will decide and we will go with the decision.
  2. We should maybe pitch for a slightly earlier start on the elite sport basis that we had done previously. We’re either elite sport or we’re not. Even a few weeks at flo testing to get us started. Clubs can’t put finance as an issue surely if it’s only a few weeks before we fall into line with the rest of contact sport participants. Without testing. all clubs have received support monies throughout the year to help. if not then let’s just call it and start back earlier. Get the crowds in for some summer games on a Saturday and midweek. basically, just make a decision and that’s it. It’s time for a decision either way now.
  3. Dundonald Bluebell are looking for a friendly away this Saturday 3rd October. Please pm me if interested. thanks

  5. A believe Tam is starting full time with Dundee United in October
  6. Personally thought it was a good game with 2 good sides. When we went 2-1 up unfortunately we couldn’t hold it for any length of time. Both penalties for me but in the build up to them the ball was out when played down the line and if linesman did his job then we would have held the lead. Cest la vie looking forward to Saturday.
  7. Thought it was a good game last night that we are disappointed not to win. Losing an injury time goal is always frustrating but injury time goals from Boness seem to happen a lot against the bell. Both teams will be at the top end of the league for me. Murphy in the Boness goal was outstanding. Your middle 3 sometimes 5 play excellent football but having watched you Saturday and last night you defo lack a cutting edge. Your defence will be glad they don’t play against the best striker in the league every week.
  8. It does stem from last summer but the ersjfa have already ignored that proposal by voting in 2 regional leagues at tier 6. Tier 6 should not be regionalised. Personally I would allow this to happen if the ersjfa went back to one league as the diagram shows for one season with full amalgamation after the one season agreed for season 20/21 in the east including the tayside clubs. For the record Dundonald Bluebell rejected the proposal because it was void of content not because we don’t want the juniors in. We are open to strategic discussion around amalgamation in the east.
  9. 4 down from the top league is too much a personally would have 3 down. Both league winners promoted and a play off between both 2nd place clubs for the third promotion place. But it certainly for me is by far the best structure going forward.
  10. There must be something in the water in Kemlin haha
  11. Yes it needs to be SJFA free and run by an association that is an amalgamation of the current ersjfa and eosl for me under the sfa. Due to increased workload we may have to administer our own discipline in line with the current sfa procedures and there’s more fixtures to work out but am sure with the expertise in the current organisations coming together we can do this. Aw at last a solution hopefully
  12. Excellent and surely all associations and clubs would accept this
  13. This should be the goal for me, with decision on how we get there being the discussion at the meeting. An excellent structure for all.
  14. The sfa board will be frustrated that the PWG have still not reached agreement on the way forward. A joint approach from eosl and ersjfa to move boundary lines would be accepted if it then allowed progression and agreement of unified structure. A don’t understand why you continually want to alienate the tayside teams. There top sides were good Valuable members of the old super league for a lot of years. Regional at the top tier or two below the lowland league and local as you moved down the tiers at some point all under one organisation should be the goal. What a top product for marketing we would have then.
  15. That’s a very closed view prior to any discussion glad you won’t be at the table lol. For me we will only get anywhere if we forget about eosl and ersjfa and look at what’s the best scenario for non league football in the east of Scotland. An all encompassing pyramid including tayside teams should be the goal. How we run it and how we get there should be the discussion.
  16. It’s a meeting of both organisations in there current format so yes is the answer.
  17. There’s a meeting next week between the eosl and ersjfa management committees I believe. Requested by the eosl. A think this is a positive step and congratulate the eosl for getting everyone round the table at a level below the PWG. Be great if both organisations can work together and resolve the current complete mess and come up with a consolidated pyramid structure under one organisation.
  18. My info is yesterday’s meeting didn’t even last an hour. The next PWG meet will be 13/14th April with the next SFA Board meeting 18th April. Which is too late for clubs without licence getting promoted to Lowland League. No got any further detail for meeting but hopefully that will be available soon. Personal feeling is one of deflation and annoyance.
  19. A hope your right in terms of the clubs getting licensed time will tell a suppose but the complete lack of communication from SFA at the moment for me means there’s things happening we aren’t privy to. I know senior league clubs don’t want clubs getting a licence for fear of us reducing there income and also the potential voting rights effect. I am aware this has been taken up with Mr Maxwell also. The floodlight fiasco was a deliberate attempt to stop clubs getting licensed as we all know. Unfortunately they haven’t counted on some clubs rising to that challenge and getting them in place pretty quickly. I wonder what next they will ask for. A may be cynical but history doesn’t show a fully transparent sfa. It is also my belief that no derogation will be given for lights but again hopefully I am wrong. However in the blue sky world of the pyramid as seen by some am happy to be proved wrong and for all the clubs to have there licence before the end of the month. Here’s hoping
