  1. I agree. I don't know what the stewards were playing at. I saw a bottle of water getting taken away from someone as well as the inflatable. Ridiculous behaviour. If the guy was going to throw his plastic bottle he'd have had to break a record to get it onto the pitch!
  2. I was the other neutral at the game this afternoon and I just can't believe how bad the home side were. Brian "Bombscare/Nightmare" Wharton should never lace up a pair of boots again (unless they're walking boots and he walks as far away from a football pitch as possible.) He was by far the worst of a comedic defence that included a lad (Sean Burns?) that looked like he couldn't control his bladder. If I was a fan of the home side I'd be disgusted quite frankly. Heading into the match I expected an easy home win but credit to "The Shire" who looked very impressive. Thomas Orr looks a real player who didn't give the home defence any peace and some of the football that was played was excellent.
  3. I'd be more than happy to pop along again mate. ????
  4. "I would not usually comment on the shite that you talk but don't have a pop at me mate when you know absolutely nothing about what is involved in running a junior football club." Having been involved in Junior football for years I know EXACTLY what is involved in running a club and I'm pretty sure I've been at Hampden as a club representative more times than you have ya tit. You were bloody hopeless and seem to have jumped before you were pushed. I know from a current committee member that you're time was nearly up months ago.
  5. Clueless manager and a committee who don't want to get rid of him.

It was great to take in the match at Dam Park Stadium today and be welcomed back by some of the Ardeer playing squad and committee after spending the last couple of years over on the East coast. People have their own opinions about some individuals involved at Ardeer Stadium as they are entitled to however the management and committee members who showed up today definitely have the club's best interests at heart. I will go on record as saying that things could be handled better at Ardeer but what Junior club doesn't have there issues, no matter how small? One negative for me, apart from the scoreline, was the lack of committee members following the away side today (when you consider the number that are named on the club website) to a match that isn't all that far away in the grand scheme of things. If you are on the committee then you should be 'committed'. The ones that couldn't attend today for legitimate reasons are excused from this rant however it does seem to me that some people can't be bothered. I hope this lack of effort from some off the field doesn't or hasn't affected matters on the field. I feel that it may be time to re-jig things slightly at Ardeer Stadium.
  7. Let's hope that my words get the players and management fired up tomorrow! Come on guys. Prove me wrong and get the three points!
  8. Nope, I left the position during pre-season. Get your facts right.
  9. I'm sorry to hear that John. I guarantee you I know who that particular committee member is. He's got teeth like a row of condemned houses and looks like he eats...well...nothing really. Am I right? As for the some of the young and not-so-young followers (and I say SOME, not ALL) they are an absolute disgrace. I've been at more than one game where they've been all mouth and as soon as the Police arrive they turn into wee mice. Some of the other lads are decent blokes though, it's just the absolute reprobates that unfortunately tar them with the same brush.
  10. I'm not too bad thanks. How are you getting on? It seems to be a bit of a mess down there at Ardeer Stadium at the moment. Some people need to get a grip though!
  11. Add another person to the list who is defending the committee ya absolute banger. It was hard enough for me to read your post but I think I grasped what your saying. Look, if the committee didn't have the best interests of the club at heart then it would have folded long before now. I think that's all the proof you need.
