Not as good as this one.

That's what I thought. It looked like Isak got ahead of him and he just grabbed onto his arm and fell over, pulling Isak down with him.

Aliens The GOAT in my opinion, just a flawless horror film. It was by far the scariest movie I'd ever seen on first viewing as a youngster, and I don't feel like anything else ever came close. If anyone has any suggestions I'd love to hear them. The aliens themselves are obviously just terrifying masterpieces of creature design, and the sets & atmosphere the perfect environment for them. Shame the series got rubbish after the first 2 (Prometheus was decent, tbf).

I don't know what's going on with the X algorithms lately, but suddenly I'm being fed posts about big trucks, tractors and other heavy equipment. Mechanical stuff like guys replacing axles etc, which is completely irrelevant to anything I've ever shown an interest in. Also, a lot of posts being shared by gun nuts showing off their equipment (Kenneth). AI has a way to go before taking over the world if this is the best it can do in targeted content.

Her voice is like if you asked ChatGPT to generate the most annoying American accent. Good content for foodies though. -
Petty Things That Get On Your Nerves...

I worked with a young lad a few years ago who did exactly this, likely down to his atrocious diet. I'd pick him up at 8am and he'd immediately demolish a pack of cajun chicken breast followed by a bag of crisps or 'fridge raiders'. Then for lunch another pack of chicken, and there was always a large bag of cheese balls or the like on the go throughout the day, washed down with a constant supply of Monster energy drink. The first thing he'd do when we got to a job is ask the customer if he can use the toilet, before disappearing for 20 minutes. There were some small 1-2 hour jobs where he was in the toilet more than out of it. -

A bit unfortunate for Phil Lynott that the Epstein files were released on the anniversary of his death.

Clinical from Morata again and it's 3-3. Girona look a bit leaky when trying to defend and look much better on the front foot. There were spells at 2-1 & 3-1 when Atletico couldn't get near it.

Some game at Girona, 3-2 up vs Atletico at half time and it could easily have been 5-5.

Folk who heat the car on full blast for the duration of the journey, incinerating their passengers. -

Deportivo La Coruna are down in the third tier too, after also enjoying some CL quarter and even semi final action earlier in the 2000s. I remember their ground having a cracking atmosphere on those euro nights.

That's an embarrassing dive and an awful decision to give the pen.

Good info. I'm allergic to bananas so will just pop a bit of potassium in a glass of water. -

No idea, this was circa 2006. Other similar potential murder weapons may be available. -
So far, none of them.

It's a thorny debate.

My draw triple was burst the other night by Shankland's late winner. My finger was hovering over the cash out button but my good lady advised me to "be a man" and hold on -

The completely nonsensical, makey-upper word 'housebarrassed' in the Wickes adverts. -
Petty Things That Get On Your Nerves...

When we bought our first flat together, my future wife insisted on spending a silly sum of money on a posh set of kitchen knives. Something like 300 quid. She was very keen to emphasize how sharp they were, something something laser cut, something something surgical scalpel sharpness etc. I caved, and needless to say the first time I used them I nearly removed a finger when cutting sausages. A day in hospital followed for some minor hand surgery as I cut through a nerve and tendon or something. The main thing of course was that the Mrs was absolutely delighted to be proven right about how sharp they were. -
Very likely nonsense, although it would go some way to explaining Trippier's howling recent form.
