Sutherland is contracted for another year. Bronski/Beattie! Don’t know how I never saw that. Hope we get a good tune out of them!

I would have Beattie and Bronsky with Cooper and Lowdon as full backs. Don’t see the point of having same combinations as last year as we had one of the worst defensive records in the league. Maybe Lowdon as left mid and Mchardy left back. Not heard if Eadie or Mchardy have signed.

Think there is a player in Byrne if he is given a run in the team. He has plenty of pace and would like to see him playing wide left/right in a midfield 4.

Same League as Forfar. As I’ve said before decent player but not consistent enough. There is no way he is a full time player, not quick enough, not big enough. Decent enough signing for Forfar though.

About time we had a right go. We have the nucleus of a decent squad, just need a few decent additions in the right positions. What position does Skelly play?

Good player but only really turned up in about 1 in 3 games. A wee bit light weight but can see him doing well at Division 1 level with better players around him. He’s a likeable lad, popular with the players.

In the P&J today saying JW is making moves to sign Thomas Reilly from Elgin. It was always a given that he would go for him.

Mac Donald did ok at Centre Back but looked like a fish out of water when at full back. Could be a decent signing though.

Pleased with that. Good experienced pro at the back. Something we have been crying out for, for a couple of years. Looked decent at the back from what I saw of him.

If we are to improve I feel Mcleish would be a squad player. Think we still need another decent striker in to partner Shane.

He’s not particularly tall. He played left back in his Dundee Untd days so is not new to the position.

Converted from striker to LB this season and had a pretty decent season. Was our young player of year. Thought he would be off hence us signing Lowden. Thomas Reilly to follow? He is big mates with Allan.

I see the club are keeping the admission price at £12 next season for adults. Been the same now for a couple of seasons so fair play to them.

Proactive Police work. How else would they know doors were open apart from when householder has been robbed which is precisely what they are trying to prevent. Sorry can’t see what’s strange about that reply.

Whats wrong with Police telling folk to lock doors, sounds like sensible advice to me!

Jordan Lowdon signed. Used to be a pacy leftback with Clyde if I remember correct but had a few injury problems latterly.

I think a more even split in the squad is the way forward as I heard training has been poor for North players due to lack of numbers. Was it not announced at Player awards that Steve Dunn was leaving his coaching role?

Good to hear. Think the lad Farquhar from Lossie is one of the players.

Agree it would be good to see some step up but it’s a big step from that level. I think a loan to the HL is the way to go and see if they progress there.

Big summer for him and club.

Montrose have certainly showed what is possible. They were in the relegation play off a couple of years ago, I saw us beat them last year 5 0 at Montrose in a game that we could have scored double that, we were so far better than them, yet this season with a different manager but much the same players they deservedly won the league. I think our finances would be as good as them if not better, so nothing stopping us if we can get in 3 or 4 decent players to compliment/replace what we have.
