I think the signings are a clear indicator we are aiming to come up this year via the playoffs or other and it’s great to see these signings roll in. Let’s not forget the signing of Adam fairly recently as well. Credit where credits due, McPake has done some exciting business while in charge. The manager and goalkeeper will ultimately determine whether we have a realistic shot of getting up this year but once again the club have reeled us back in when hope of promotion was a joke before. Looking forward to the weekend. Are all the new lads likely to be fit and feature/start?

Literally can’t wait to see Charles firing them in to Cumdog for the rest of the season, excited about McMullen too tbh. Surely a competent manager would have this group of players comfortably in second and in with a very good shout of going up. Probably start Cammy Kerr up front on Saturday.

The alarming thing is the number of chances we failed to convert. We could and should of been out of sight. Adam must wonder what sort of cross he needs to conjure up to produce the goals because competent strikers would have filled their boots with some of the crosses tonight. We have completely got out of jail on more than one occasion tonight though and McPake is extremely fortunate we are in the draw tomorrow morning, not that his job would be in danger anyway...

I wonder what the whole dynamic is in the dressing room now that Charlie’s in there who seemingly has a far superior football knowledge to McPake. Now he’s doing the interviews. Is Charles planning to overthrow the regime? On another night we tuck away some of the numerous chances and would have won comfortably. Credit to Bonnyrigg who made it a proper cup tie.

I recall in previous derby games McMullen running at our defence giving me massive fear. Whether he did much or not I can’t really remember but if he’s got pace and can get in the box to create chances for Sowbrahimovich then could be exciting times ahead at this level anyway.

Really enjoyable game today and credit to McPake. Like others I still don’t think he’s the man to lead us forward but there has been a marked improvement so far and happy to be proved wrong as thought we were in for a hiding today. Just a joy to watch Charlie Adam in a Dundee top and he certainly seems to have the passion for the club that we need going forward. Happy new year to all fellow Dees, an enjoyable Saturday night

Disappointing lack of people in here claiming they don’t care and won’t be watching.... while watching and caring.

Was in general mate. Granted the league is piss poor, but we haven’t shown anything consistently defensively that suggests we are better than the other dross in the league.

I think it’s mental that folk are going on about us gunning for second after one good result against queens (where the keeper still managed to chuck one) with this defence/keeper/management nightmare trio. Charlie gets injured and we are in the shit.

Nelms must know the discontent within the fan base has peaked now, I agree with the earlier post about the fans not being there keeping him in a job. At what point do the fans get together to voice their disapproval (maybe not literally) as it feels like it’s getting close.

Being unable to see out a game with so little time left at 3-0 at home is totally unforgivable in itself. When you add that to the countless other collapses and horse shit performances it’s surely the final straw for McPake. Just sat and laughed as the third went in, saw it coming a mile off. We are going absolutely nowhere with him in charge other that south.
