  1. See we have signed Craig Forbes from yous? Did he play much last year?
  2. With the opening fixtures now announced, how's your team shaping up? The Gow have added what looks like 4 good additions to last years strong squad and so far, only one departure. The management and committee have been working hard as always and hopefully another couple of additions and we should be a decent team in this league. Really looking forward to this league with some good derbies coming along, best of luck to all.
  3. Congratulations to Carluke for joining Lanark and The Gow in league 1 next season.
  4. Carluke or VoC to grab the 3rd promotion place?
  5. Will Lanark do their neighbours, Carluke a favour on Saturday by beating Vale of Clyde and putting them out the race for promotion, or will they have switched off and be thinking about lifting the champions trophy? Ashfield have 3rd just now and points on the board but will Carluke or Vale of Clyde overtake them? Been a great league this year, thanks to all involved.
  6. The only person who thought it was a sending off was the ref. 10 just wanted to fight with everybody. We are definitely missing Scotty and Stevie Clark. Good to halve Reggie back tho.
  7. Scrappy 5.4 victory for The Gow at home against Vale of Leven. Away team were 2 nil up in 5 minutes. Like our away game VoL get 2 sent off.
  8. We both can help them out by beating vale of Clyde and vale of leven but I’m sure they will prefer to win last 3 games and go up with us.
  9. The Gow has a comfortable 6.2 win at home to Thorniewood btw. Could have been double figures if The Gow had their shooting boots on in the first half.
  10. Congratulations to Lanark on winning this league. Well done to all concerned.
  11. Got what we deserved from tonight’s game. Absolutely nothing. Well deserved victory for The Forth 2.5 away at The Gow. Sadly I think that’s the league done but....... Still chasing
  12. Vale of Clyde to win at home to give them and Muirkirk something to play for against Lanark. Still chasing
  13. Don’t let numbers and facts get in the way when want to make a serious point. Haha Still chasing
  14. Think the green eyed monster has appeared and beginning to get a bit nervous for the run in. Haha [emoji23]
  15. You must a a really great life if you have seen all these teams play and think it’s been poor all season. Do you like to torture yourself on a regular basis? This is the bottom league in the west and we all know it but give credit to the clubs that continue to give boys the opportunity to play football at whatever standard all season.
  16. What difference does that make ? Next you will be telling me over 25% of them were scored by Big McStay so they don’t count. You can only play against the team put out against you and the season shows the best teams. As previously stated, top 3, whoever they are, will deserve it. Vale of Clyde v Ashfield is a massive game this weekend as is both our games for the run in. Still chasing
  17. Lot of football to be played. Let’s see who can see it through to the end of the season. Champions and the top 3 will deserve it as a long hard league never lies. Still chasing.
  18. Just noticed that’s The Gow scored 100 goals in 23 league games. Well done lads. Still chasing
  19. Vale of Clyde win at home and it’s game on. Still chasing
  20. Muirkirk gave us a good game today and game could have went either way until they tired a bit at the end. Just what the juniors is all about, bit heated on and off the park but all shake hands and move on to the next game at the end. Great set up Muirkirk have and would welcome another visit down there as long as it’s when they come up. Haha. Our keeper and penalty taker (same person) didn’t make it today either and the young fella done well when he settled in. Games running out for us as yous seem to keep getting good results too but we are..... Still chasing !!!!!
  21. Great 3pts for The Gow away to a strong Muirkirk team. Jarvie just keeps scoring the goals with another 2 today. Think we need to practice our penalties tho. Still chasing
  22. Comfortable 8.2 victory for The Gow at home to Saltcoats. Not much else to say really. Still chasing.
  23. We still have a lot of tough games to go. Think Scotty will miss Muirkirk tho. Hopefully get the midfield back for the run in. Still chasing
  24. Jason Thomson for 2 yellows and Scotty Falconer straight red, Newmains boy only got yellow for his part. We only had 12 fit players and none of our normal midfield available. Newmains saw a weakness and rightly went for it. They tried their best to upset us at every chance, even from the bench which made for a bit of a ruff and tumble type game. Could easily have finished a draw but we held out with the 9 men. Still chasing.
