He is mate been outstanding since he came in. He had a run out with Clyde reserves last Monday after impressing in a friendly against them the week before Boy can play. Done great for us as you know. Many did he score against ye? Ha ha.

Good 4 nil away win for The Gow at Vale of Leven. Johnny McStay scores another 2 , Weir and an OG. 2 sent off for VoL as they lost the plot in the second half.

Another 4 goals for big Johnny McStay in a 9 nil win over Newmains. Team is getting stronger as the weeks go by.

Can be frustrating to watch sometimes but you can’t argue with his scoring record each time he has signed for us. Scored number 10 and 11 yesterday and looks like this could be his highest tally yet. Got to like the big fella.

Good result yesterday. 2.3 win at Thorniewood which is always a hard place to take points from for us.

Stronger team this year and hopefully go on a winning streak in this league which can only help the boys confidence after last year.

The Gow threw away a 2 lead to draw 2.2 at home to Johnstone. Johnstone looked stronger at the end and probably deserved the point although The Gow should have had the game won from the first half.

What a start to The Gow v VoC. 1 down in 2 mins, 3 down in 15 mins. Gow make it 3.3 in 35 mins. First half ends 3.3. Thought The Gow were going to come away with a point a least but VoC dug deep and scored near the end to take all three points. Well done VoC and look forward to return match.

5 figures ??? Haha. Heard we did recoup a good bit with the players that signed from larkhall then went to Authurlie before the season started. We haven’t spent money for a few years and tried to go with youth and amateur players, hence us dropping down 2 leagues.

Nobody in this league would spend that type of money. Surely not.

Never seen the start of the sending offs, just the 2 off them coming together at the end, as I imagine the ref seen too due to where it happened (yet he still gave both red cards). Rumour has it that Watt stood on Falconers foot to start the rammy. Looking forward to the return match already.

The Gow v Lanark Good local derby tonight where the referee tried his hardest to ruin the game. Lanark should have been out of sight but the first half ended only 0.1 Lanark tired in the second half and The Gow powered to a 2.1 lead. Game ended 2.2 and I don’t think both teams will complain apart from the terrible refereeing.

2 nd game in and first midweek and the fixture man has Carluke going to Saltcoats. Haha.

Number 9 (Clarke) was through on goal 3 times and never finished. I thought it would have been a disaster if The Gow didn’t take all 3 points. Was expecting more from the bookies favourites. all about opinions
