  1. All these rumours just remind me of good old Andy Stewart, from back in the day, and his poem called The Rumour. You'll find it on YouTube if anybody's sufficiently interested.
  2. That's just rubbing it in a bit too much There's no need for cruelty. They're suffering enough as things stand.

  4. At least his folks refrained from naming him John. But we know he can be at times Seriously though, well done on another fine result in Fife. Your revival is definitely underway.
  5. They are a joint Welsh and English team, incorporating the border towns of Llansantffraid in Wales and Oswestry in England, and are the most successful club in the Welsh league structure, with 15 league titles to their name. Since the 2001–02 season, they have finished as champions or runners-up in every season, apart from 2008–09, when they finished third.
  6. Oh dear! Heid gone or strong alcohol partaken. We are currently not doing too well, admittedly, but that is way OTT. I'd maybe agree with you if we don't win another match by the end of the season but as things stand we have enough in the tank to be at the very least in the playoffs. Where I do agree is that the 3 year contract extension should have been left until the end of the season to see where we were in terms of progress. Perhaps just a tad hasty?
  7. I hope our guys were watching the Falkirk v TNS semi (or will be) because the TNS gave a display of how to defend when it was really needed. No messing about. Just get tight on the attacker and get a tackle in, then get the ball away from the danger area either with an accurate pass or a blooter up the pitch. Simple stuff if done correctly.
  8. Absolutely! The floor is all yours. Just don't get too excited about owning us ...yet! We can still dream about winning the last fixture of this season. Will it happen? The dream will. But the actuality? Naw! All the best for the final.
  9. You've summed it up as succinctly but I wouldn't use the term "average team". Try something like "awful" or "embarrassment of a team". Much more accurate.
  10. Congratulations to Airdrie for managing the game well and never was the result in doubt . Actually you should have put in 3 or 4 against us. Pity you didn't to really emphasise the malaise surrounding Ian Murray and his tactics and team selection. And we gave him a three year contract extension to oversee this nonsense.
  11. Once again, awful if not worse. We are totally gone until Stanton returns. Two weeks to go now until we get gubbed at home to United. Depressing stuff.
  12. All present and correct other than Sam Stanton and that's when it's gone to hell in a handcart.
  13. So so frustrating. Just showing the world how awful we have become in a very short time and how all the last minute winners earlier in the season were papering over a huge crack.
  14. There's going to be a fair amount of added time if they take in to consideration all the times Airdrie have broken up play with players going down or subbed.
  15. One man doesn't make a team but Sam Stanton definitely makes this one. We are clueless without him.
  16. I'm trying to still be positive given how well we were doing up to Christmas or thereabouts but there is just nothing so far in this performance tonight to show that we have turned a corner.
  17. Did we have any effort on target in the first? I can't think of one but maybe missed one.
  18. What has Turner brought to this squad? Diddly squat as far as I can see.
  19. We're square all the time. Across or back but seldom forward. That's the root of the problem.
  20. Even allowing for the wind, we're not passing. Just hitting it up the park or throwing it aimlessly into the box, all in the hope something might happen. Airdrie are much sharper and also defending well when required.
  21. Defence? What defence? Absolutely shocking that they couldn't clear the lines. We're not at the races in this one
  22. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c72g9penygro Some action at last.
  23. Got mine by Royal Mail today. Lovely gift(s). Two of which are very useful and will be well used in this part of the country given the weather experienced here. A week of snow followed quickly by two named storms........ in this part of the world this is known as January!
