  1. Oor name's on the cup! It most likely wouldn't have been if we played ICT, given our record against them. It is what it is. We are now part of Scottish football history going forward from here.
  2. That's the only instance I can think of. The Scottish Cup wasn't awarded in 1909 after a final and two replays which led to a protest riot at Hampden from both Oldco and 'Tic fans.
  3. That's definitely one of our best results against ICT in years. Not too many clubs can claim to have won a national cup and a half in its history!
  4. We'll have none of this 'demob happy' malarky thank you Queens. You're playing for three points and points total payout cash for the club. Always something to play for.
  5. Inconclusive at that angle. Has the whole ball crossed the line? Maybes aye, maybes naw. Doesn't really matter. This game is now history. Move on to Friday evening for the show down.
  6. Dinnae you lot go demob happy just yet. Just take care of Dundee come Friday evening and finish on a high to help us out. After all we let you graciously kickstart your remarkable recovery from a horrendous first half to the season back on Boxing Day.
  7. I foresee two defeats next week as both sets of supporters bemoan throughout the evening how they let things slip then come full time the Raith ones realise that they're actually in second place.
  8. Now that could lead to all sorts of problems. Perish the thought!
  9. And he'll be a vital defensive cog or component tomorrow at Dens given Frankie seems to be out through injury. Just got to hope he plays an absolute solid blinder against his former employer.
  10. And the answer is... Hearts: Captain Steven Naismith to lift Scottish Championship trophy in 'act of respect' - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/56847922 "Hearts" and "respect for Scottish football" are not words you'll find in the same sentence these last two seasons. Trying to save their own collective skins through reorganisation? Court cases? Aye! Respect. That'll be right!
  11. Have they managed yet to get their collective small minds round this? Hearts players will choose whether to lift Scottish Championship trophy - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/56847922
  12. Director of Football, Gary Holt been put in charge for the rest of the season.
  13. It's Willie Collum. Look out for penalties being awarded in bizzare decision making.
  14. Nope! Hearts were unadulterated shite. Morton probably the better team but lacked anything in the final third on a poor soaking wet bumpy pitch.
  15. Unfortunately that'll no' be happening. We are very much the enemy in Mrs Budge's book after last season's shenanigans when Hearts we're shite all season but still have a huge chip on the shoulder for the decision to relegate them. Now talk of them not lifting the trophy on Saturday as a protest! What a bunch of roasters. So, we'll get hee haw from them. Anything we do get we will have truly earned.
  16. Ah ha! The two consecutive draws scenario! Those of us of a certain vintage will well remember that from the end of the 1994-5 season. Dundee were also part of that scenario back then. Nervous, very nervous times playing Hamilton at Firhill on the last day. Especially the Peter Duffield open goal miss near the end. However, two nil nil draws in the last two games got us over the line to complete our "Double". Happy days indeed.
