QTS are a new sponsor? I am sure they have been around for a few seasons now.

Maybe the loan move of Hutton was the fact we only had 1 starting central midfielder?  But the negative spin sounds better doesn’t it?

As for your other post about travelling support being non existent, you must have been somewhere else watching a game as the away crowds have been decent in the previous 2 away games Clydebank and Arthurlie. The crowds are never going to be recorded breaking.

You’re the exact same as your pal, nothing but negative pish.

I was at both the away games mentioned and I read a fantastic away support , there wouldn’t be 40-50 at the games , it’s no all negative , there has been plenty of positives mentioned for what’s happened recently but u have to take the negatives with the positives in football

West of Scotland Football League Championship Rules 2023-24, Rule 14b :-

"Clubs can make an application in writing to the Fixture Secretary to bring forward or defer a scheduled fixture. Such an application must be made by both clubs and upon application, both clubs shall detail any existing player suspensions that will be served on or before the new proposed date. Any application must be received by the Fixture Secretary not later than 7 days before the proposed new date to bring a game forward, or 7 days before the date of the original fixture for a deferred fixture. A change will not be sanctioned if it is thought that it is an attempt to circumvent the disciplinary process or to gain an advantage in any other way. The Fixture Secretary will consider each application on its’ merit and his decision is binding and final."

The Constitution and Rules are set by the clubs, as is the case in all member-run leagues. The Board (elected by the clubs) are only there to administer the rules that the clubs set.

1.30pm kick off on the Saturday then as talbot won’t want any change to kick off

Any word yet if the league are taking our request to move the talbot game to the Friday so we can watch old firm on the Saturday?

Don’t think the talbot will agree to anything gall wants but we have floodlights could it no just be a 3 pm Kick off on the Saturday and u have the choice of watching the rangers and darvel winning 🤷‍♂️

As a long term browser I felt the urge to sign up and give my views.

I am delighted to hear of Alan continuing his sponsorship for 5 years with the figure reported through the grapevine at £100k for the 5 season deal (£20k/season) paid in one full instalment to cover all 5 seasons.  Certainly welcome cash boost at present.

is it time for an EGM to be held, allow all fans in not limited to members, I know Covid played its part however I don’t recall an agm being advertised for a number of seasons now.  Fans new and old bought into the plan for progression however in light of recent event is it time to grow a fan base as being honest for the level we are at we have one of the lowest attendances in league.  Is it time to build on the developments over the past number of years and build a proper community club not just aim to go up the league when we haven’t got a broad enough fan base to cover it.

I personally would just like transparency, good or bad

I would still like an emphasis on the youth pathway, for me I personally don’t agree with the level of transfer fees at this level.  I’d prefer to see boys coming out of Galston boys club into the 20s team etc…

U talk too much sense for this place pal , noticed u said on a later post we need to get back to not having an owner , no one owns the club , John will have put loads of dough in but he doesn’t own the club .

also as a matter of interest can u name that team on ur profile pic , I played in it but 2 or 3 I just don’t know and neither do other guys who played alongside me

Hopefully the Arthurlie manager sees this post mate.  Tactically very poor. We are struggling with injuries but there are no excuses for going out and playing the way we do , game after game we give away goals a schoolboy team would be ashamed of.   I didn't see too much between the teams yesterday but unfortunately when you are inept in front of goal and defensively, there is usually only one outcome.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        We need a miracle to stay in the premier division.  We have some very good young players , all we need now is someone who can set them up to look like a football team.

Second half u were probably better team and u have some good young players but on what I’ve seen this season unfortunately I can’t see u staying up but a long way to go

  6. Good 3 points yesterday at a tricky venue and got the job done early With 2 goals from Jordan Moore and he was probably denied his hat trick by an offside flag just after his second goal , arthurlie middle Of defence just can’t run and they played with no depth which was strange with pace Moore has , arthurlie we’re better second half and looked like a stonewall penalty to me but nae var so we will never know and then we killed the game with a fluke , 7 points in a week I wouldn’t have predicted but job well done , on a side note I see Blair mcnallys video from beith game Wednesday night and gall saying he told mcinally to win the junior cup this year  , 3 year ago when he got licensed he didn’t want to play in it 🤷‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

  7. Really good game last night and a weird one , beith were poor first half and seemed to be in a competition to see who could kick it the furthest in the first half as every forward pass was nearly out the park , we scored a really good goal to bring us level , second half was really strange as beith were easy the better team but every time we attacked we looked like scoring with their Keeper pulling off some really good saves and a really good header for the winner , all in all a really good £8 worth , we had some really good performances but Carlo monti was best player on the park by a country Mile and thankfully his shot that hit the Stantion never went in as I think beith would have went on and won the game if it had , last 3 league games troon , Clydebank and beith and 4 points gained in a way I wouldn’t have predicted

I’d agree with that DL - Darvel better first half Bankies better second half. Two poor goals conceded from our pov but no argument that Darvel were worth a point- although Bankies could have nicked it late on

Despite the recent issues Darvel have had they still have some excellent players- very impressed by young Aitken up front and thought your left back had a good game too.

Yea if we have what u would say is the managers first 11 on the park we will be competitive and give anyone a game but if we get injuries and suspensions I fear the worst

  9. See to summarise this John gall has done a great job as far as the park gos , dressing rooms , infrastructure of the club , it’s no the best in the wosfl but it’s a million times better than what it was , he also has won the league and a never to be forgotten night against Aberdeen which will never be equalled in history of the Scottish cup probably , but it will have cost him an absolute fortune with not a hope of getting a penny back and when that gos wrong 7 months later I’m sure we have every right to ask questions about who made the decisions at the club , I’ve slated the 20k spent on Jordan Moore but it’s no his fault we paid that for him , I feel sorry for Tony mcinally as I’m sure this wasn’t the gig he signed up for and if the plan is for the under 20s to step up to the plate which it might be it might not be then we are in a whole lot of trouble , there are some no bad players in that team  but not one of them Close to being good enough for the top level of wosfl , if that doesn’t please some people so be it but that’s just my opinion , never be in any doubt that myself and the boys who left want a successful darvel but it needs to be done in a financially achievable way and that clearly has not been the case here

Not sure however when shit hits the fan, I am sure loyal past committee members with the clubs best interest at heart will be top of the list for genuine supporters.

Judging by John Galls own comments on his social media post a couple of weeks ago when he states

"people from Darvel who were asked to leave the club so it could move forward have slated us on social media
The initials are JW and CR
    People need to know this"

Then I am assuming he isn't keen on the idea of building bridges. Main point of his post was to take more credit for the club and lap up praise rather than be condemned for his actions.

Unsure in light of recent weeks events how much further forward John Gall took the club since people were asked to leave, when it is now on the brink of full collapse.

Surely the fan base can see the damage and embarrassment he has caused the club. He shouldn't let his ego or nodding dog committee members stand in the way of saving the club. It is purely his reckless actions at the helm that caused this.

Mate im no going to get into it but we weren’t asked to leave we all Left
