The shirt sponsorship thing is just systematic of the direction of travel. It's noticeable how many of our former sponsors are still active elsewhere - at VoL Juniors in particular. Anyway, what about the Sons Sorrow regulars? Hundred quid each. Half to club and half to CHAS Robin House with their name on the shirt.

Sounds terrible but the current format of the League Cup holds zero attraction and I'd rather save my cash than attend. Glorified pre-season games.

Not that it still annoys me or anything......but car passed its MOT today. That's third MOT and servicing since Macklin Motors told me I needed to change all the brake sets on a 2 year old car that hadn't even done 9k miles - which I obviously didn't do. Shysters!

This was my thought as well. At least the new commercial manager is trying something different but it all does seem a bit panicked. Very decent shirts which I hope will sell well and get us some revenue. Hats off to whoever designed/sanctioned them. I'd also like to see us sort a sponsor sooner rather than later (hopefully with a logo that's sympathetic to the designs!) as we need the cash. Would be a bit embarrassing to be only non sponsored side in the league as well.

The website just feels unfinished with the only working feature being the news articles. Whilst that was acceptable for the first couple of days, it's certainly not now. Nor does it appear to be set up to render to mobiles which I'm guessing where the majority of views come from. The comment about losing revenue is a valid one. Player Sponsorship page (assuming you can find it) doesn't work so immediately it creates a barrier to people handing over cash. These kind of things should be made as easy as possible.

Afraid my cynical nature tends more towards @Silverton End For the life of me I cannot see why a tiny LL team with a support numbered in the dozens would pay to leave Glasgow to rent a League ground that has a reputation (deserved) for having probably the worst pitch in the professional leagues. Surely there are cheaper Astros available from WoSL sides closer to their geographic 'home' at a much cheaper rate. At best, we've grabbed at an offer of cold hard cash coming in for 5 years without much thought. I find that doubtful though. Too much just doesn't add up. And the radio silence you mention doesn't exactly help either.

The whole thing is that nonsensical that I'm actually concerned there is something more sinister going on in the background that we are just not seeing yet.
