The Famous Aberdeen - Season 2022/23

You are correct, the VAR can make a decision on a freeze frame. The only person that would possibly say that it “was clearly offside” is someone with an agenda, or a white stick. -
The Famous Aberdeen - Season 2022/23

This is f*ck*ng outrageous. If Sportscene is to be believed, the SFA told them that because the "offside " was so obvious they didn't need to release "the lines". We now find out that there were no lines to release. It is an absolutely scandalous decision. Totally guessing to overturn an on-field without even involving the referee. F *ck off. -
Absolutely, but that's not 100%. As I may have said before, anyone with a modicum of sense would have scheduled the match for Tuesday 2nd April. Anyone that denies that is simply being argumentative for the sake of it. Again, anyone with a modicum of sense knows that SPFL didn't want to schedule the match in the week leading up to the Rangers v Celtic match. Rangers would have released a statement rivalling that nonsense today.

Given the amount of matches postponed at Dens this season, and the closeness to the split, the sensible approach should have been taken and the match scheduled for last Tuesday. Completely different scenario from Edinburgh City v Montrose. And there was the international break between the original postponement and last Tuesday. Only someone not wanting to make Rangers play the match in the midweek leading up to the match against Celtic, would make the stupid decision to cut things so fine. Now, unless Dundee beat Aberdeen on Saturday, which is entirely possible, every team is going to be waiting at least four days longer to get their post split fixtures.

10 for Wednesday. After getting three yesterday, I was feeling quite good, then I spotted that the majority of scores today are ten. Oh well.

I think you need to find a few minutes to brush up on the Laws of the Game relating to the VAR. -
Infuriating Things Your Partner Does

When I was a child, we had dinner at dinner time, around 12.30/13.00. Only posh folk had lunch then. -

You do realise that the referee is the one that made all the decisions yesterday don't you? If you've been following Scottish football this season you'll have seen some occasions where the referee has been sent to the screen and stuck with his original decision. And, whisper it, even against Rangers. -
Let's All Laugh At Celtic Thread

Truly horrendous that this “club of the people” and “club for everyone” has gone decades in denying any liability in this. But not sure you’ve posted this in the right thread. -

There’s something quite satisfying that a person from the most over celebrating fans in the country, is having a go at other fans over celebrating. -

In his interview shown on Sportscene, Clement says “my player is jumping with his arm up, yes, otherwise you cannot jump, but he puts his arm away and it (the ball) touched his shoulder…”. -

Celtic starts with a 'C'. Conspiracy starts with a 'C'. There is another word that fits in here that starts with a 'C', but I'm too polite to say it.
