  1. I agree with everything you have written but I would just have said " we've been shite all season " and left it at that.
  2. Remember - no one is perfect, we all have cracks in our arse
  3. VAR was brought in to help the on field officials where a clear and obvious error had been made. My take is that if 2 officials cannot see the clarity or obviousness ( word?) Of the error then it cannot be clear or obvious. Is it therefore an error ? I was at Satursays game and thought it was a perfectly good goal. Astonished that it was overturned. Scotlands versionof VAR is crap and is a platform for organised cheating with bias towards certain teams.. I'm not a youngster bumping my gums here but a guy who has played and followed football for 65 years plus.. It does not help refs, rather hinders them. Refs agree with VAR decisions so to avoid controversy. VAR makes the decisions now and ruining the game. Glad Aberdeen have taken officialdom to task over the nonsense that presided on Saturday. Hope they get more evidence of what clear and obvious error was made by the officials. Bitter and twisted old man rant over. Time for a lie down.
  4. Cannot disagree with you on that one. Trouble is, it has not just been confined to the Tony Mac. The smell has followed us around all season.
  5. Mibbe - but there's a lot of dugshit playing on it.
  6. " SHAUN THE SHEEP - JUST SAY NO " was my favourite
  7. Just to clarify. For those erse cheek home games only season ticket holders can buy tickets for the home end. So as their season ticket gives them their seat , they can buy for friends/ family for the home stand. That way the club has a handle on who buys what and where and in the unfortunate circumstances of there being any disruption they know who bought what and can take appropriate action.
  8. There were a number of empty seats yesterday around where I sit and it could be because it was a) Easter Sunday or b) it was one of the weegie mob c) one of the weegie mob who celebrate other things at Easter rather than its Religious significance. Whatever, maybe home attendances won't fall off significantly in the Championship because we won't have to put up with their particular brand of " support". Those that used to come along may be encouraged to return to see a more competitive league in relative safety
  9. Listened to Martindale on the radio. Delusional. We were never in the game to pose any kind of threat to Celtic and comic cuts defending just helped them to 3 points that bit quicker. George kept it from being more embarrassing. The gulf in the quality of players between the sides was huge. Before we would attempt to close that gap by working hard and closing down quickly. Don't have the personnel these days to do that.. it would be nice to stay in the Premier League but to be honest, I'm not really that fussed. The cash would be great but on the plus side of going down will mean that we don't have to put up with the bile that the unwashed bring. Gonna look fwd to Airdrie, Dunfermline and Falkirk away days.
  10. How the fcuk has Sean Kelly made a living out of being a " professional footballer"?
  11. Must be really infectious - it's lasted a whole season
  12. They've been playing at being professional footballers all season. A total red neck coming today.
  13. I despair with this team selection. We're on a hiding here. Devlin Kelly and Shinnie , a recipe for increasing our goals against total.
  14. It would do her confidence a world of good playing behind that defence.
  15. Kettlewell must have seen the blindingly obvious that we were wide open on our left hand side. 1st half Motherwell could not capitalise on this . Sean Kelly is not a full back, Nouble offered no defensive ( or attacking) help whatever. All 3 goals came from crosses from that area. The masterstroke of taking Kelly off ( injured?) and putting Devlin on in his place, who is worse, showed the standard of player recruitment this season. Motherwell undoubtedly deserved the win but ŵhen two quick energetic players in Holt and McKay were taken off to allow the likes of Mr Pointy ( Shinnie) to come on, the writing was on the wall. Getting to away games will be a skoosh next season.
  16. This is spot on. I am of pensionable age and have enjoyed my trips each season to St Mirren. The NB lads create a good atmosphere and I have never felt intimidated or threatened when coming to the matches in Paisley. That could all change if wallopers like these neds leech on to the club. If I don't feel safe, I'm not going, simple. I'm NOT saying they are part of the NB crew but others may conclude differently, and that would be a shame. Every club seems to attract an undesirable element , goodness knows we have a few questionable attendees as well. Attacking a less able fan , nicking his stuff, probably just for kicks,. is a disgrace. Hope someone grasses on them.
  17. Did not realise how easy it is to buy these flares and smoke pyros either on line or from retailers. Some are under a fiver. The club have done the right thing reinforcing the message but when the bigger clubs come calling you know what will happen.
  18. Mibbe cause they were allowed to stay out late cause it was a Saturday
  19. Is anybody able to categorically say who has the controlling interest In Livingston FC ? There have been truths, opinions and loads of supposition on this matter and I would say the majority of fans are completely in the dark.
  20. Agree Livis 1st penalty was a joke esp as it was right in front of the assistant who gave nothing. Justice served when Shinnie made an arse of it. Second was at opposite end of the ground from where I sit so , hands up, i'll take it regardless. The push on Penrice for the 3rd was blatant but no VAR ? To sum up, VAR is ruining the game. Bin it until it and the operators are fit for purpose. I'd rather have the refs make a mistake and then we can have a real good moan about it in the pub after, than wait 5 mins for some decision made in a room miles away by somebody watching a TV. Dundee deserved the win, we are totally useless.
  21. Yep , I'm sure it was Nottingham who stuck his boot in when Holt had control
  22. If he would give his head a wobble before he comes out with Primark pish then there might be a chance of attracting someone half decent. That kind of talk does nothing to enhance the reputation of the club nor does it show him in a good light. We know we are never going to get charged for breaking financial fair play regulations but if the money is there not better to buy " quality" than volume.
