  1. Both easy looking goals for Gall but the key thing is, you've got to be getting into those positions to score them. And Gall is very good at that. He gets himself into good positions often. Can be a very frustrating player at times but nobody can fault his effort, workrate etc. and he's scored some very important goals for us this season.
  2. 13 or not, this thread is quality cR crash stuff. A great perk up for any fan. Other than LOLKIRK. As you were.
  3. Your club not even making the play offs. Now that's funny as f**k. The 'big team' being rank rotten is the funnient thing about this league. Their fans having big club syndrome is even funnier. I can sense your inner rage. It's hilarious.
  4. It's almost a win win for Airdrie. Falkirk beat Cove. Amazing. Cove pump Falkirk. Funny as f**k.
  5. And its comments like this that make it so funny. That's the 'bigger club' mentality for you. All the more fans to watch you get pumped every week.
  6. Trying to think of something funny to say, but your results just keep doing the talking. Thank you. From the fans of the other 9 teams watching you capitulate further every week. You put joy in our hearts.
  7. Even though you had some of your 'young team' throwing bricks at our fans after we last pumped you at your ground..... Right outside your stadium too. Stones in glass houses my man. Anyway. LOLKIRK
  8. On the recruitment front, how's Leigh Griffiths doing for you?
  9. The logic of a child? Says the guy who suggests Murray could thrive at a club that sacks managers for fun. Yeah, that must be really appealing. Who do you have selling him the prospect of Falkirk being back in the Premiership in a few years? The Wolf of Wall Street? The way you're going you'll be lucky to be out this league in a few years. But I'll toddle off now with my child logic and leave you with your adult denial.
  10. And therein lies your problem. To even compare the players Cove have to yours is laughable. But it also highlights my main point that your problem is bigger than players, manager and throwing money at it hoping it'll solve it. Coves players actually try a leg. They play good, attractive football. They give a monkeys and earn their wages, unlike Falkirk's actual jobbers.
  11. So Griffiths is on a standard wage for a crowd your size eh? Which, by the way, seems to have shrunk a fair bit this season...
  12. Do folk still think throwing money at jobbers and constantly changing managers will work? Folk don't think that in real life.... Do they?
  13. Finally, a voice of reason. Shame others cannot see it.
  14. How's that worked out for you over the last few seasons? It's not all about money. Just look at Arbroath. It's also about having the right people behind the scenes as well as infront. And a good structure. Falkirks is shambolic at best. And you know it.
  15. If course there'd be interest. No doubt. Because Falkirk would throw silly money at them and then follow it up with silly money for players too. I didn't say that managers wouldn't want the role. I said sensible managers should stay clear. For now at least whilst the behind the scenes mess gets sorted out. I stand by that.
  16. Haha, and that's your issue right there. You think other people can't see it but the truth is, they do, more than you clearly. Why do you think there's very little sympathy from other fans? Because there's an obvious arrogance from some posters, thinking they can buy their way out of the stink you're in. When that's what you've been trying all along and ultimately failed. And you still don't know why. It's quite hilarious.
  17. It's not even about whether you could afford him or not. The way your club is being ran, plus the unrealistic expectation of your fans who still struggle to grasp that you're not as big a team as you think anymore, means you'd ultimately ruin him. He'd be wasted at a club like Falkirk. Because the moment there's a rough patch you'd spit the dummy, again, demand change, again, throw silly money at jobbers, again. And your comment proves exactly that. 'We can throw more money at people than other clubs can.' It's arrogant beyond belief. And how's that worked out for you so far? Airdrie's successful run is not solely down to Murray. There's a lot more to it than that. It's a poisoned challis right now. Any sensible manager in a secure job should stay well clear.
  18. Positive move by the club but let's wait and see if we get anywhere near 2300 fans then. And let's see what the attendances are like for the remainder of the home games. Honestly man, you are seriously short sighted if you don't think the club will lose some money by slashing gate prices. It's a good move to boost a one off crowd for a huge game. But beyond that it's not sustainable, otherwise why not do it for the full season....
  19. Yeah there's 2300 people just itching to come attend. But the club need to let most of them in for free or feck all? Is that all they have to do? Why didn't they think of that?!?! Honestly, good luck running a business with your current philosophy.
  20. And maybe the club is not in a position to reduce gate fees by 72% as you'd suggest they do. To generate the same gate money based our average crowd this season, you'd need an attendance of circa. 2300 fans, just to break even with what the club make at £18 a ticket. Even dropping it to a tenner, you'd need circa 1150 attendance just to break even. And Cove aren't exactly going to come in their droves. Let's say dropping it to £5 got us 1000 fans. The club would still lose circa £6500 in gate receipts. That's not exactly petty cash for a club on our level. So yeah, it's easy enough saying the club should do it but I'd hardly call it a 'missed opportunity' if they don't. And as I said above, this is our most tantalising game of the season, a chance to cut into the 5 point gap of our title rivals. If that's not enough to attract more fans then I'm not convinced a money losing price cut will bring fans back in their droves. For me, that won't happen until we get promoted and when we do, you can probably expect a ticket price of £20 per game I'd say.
