Well its been some ride hasnt it lads.

The COVID season shutting down our first season early.  The next starting late and so many games still behind closes doors.

The wonder season where Premiership football was so close, to the season that felt like we had just gone off a cliff. And now we have finally hit the ground.

But i have no doubt we will use these past 5 seasons as a benchmark of what can be achieved if we get it right on the pitch. Learn from our mistakes and move on to the next season.

Might take us a while but we will be back up. And who knows..... we may end up finishing higher than 2nd in the Championship. We might never see another part time team getting anywhere as close to that.

Good post, think we’ve all made our feelings clear at the moment and hopefully changes are coming but worthwhile using the last few games to appreciate the journey we’ve been on and show our support to the players.

    Insecure..... 😂

No to be honest it's just for many a year we were told he would be Gayfield bound as soon as DC was out the door.Just find it rather amusing to be honest,I've said before he might end up at Gayfield some point in his career. But it won't be any time soon.

Do u check all other 41 clubs threads on a daily basis or just ours? Petrie has done a good job at montrose but now seems to have stalled out and taken them as far he can. I would like him at arbroath but he’s obviously in his comfort zone at montrose and didn’t fancy a go in the championship.

  3. Actually thought we played ok tonight and kept ourselves in the game for 70 mins, then mcintyre changed it and we had stowe (a left midfielder) at right midfield, stewart (a right midfielder who was playing well there) at centre mid and gold ( a centre mid) at left mid and unsurprisingly things fell apart.

We cannot start next season with mcintyre in charge, all for backing a manager for as long as possible but it seems other fans were right about him and he doesn’t have a clue.

There is a chance, however remote that might be, we could win our next 5 matches (Partick, Dunfermline, Airdrie, ICT and Ayr) and be above Ayr and ICT (assuming they dont pick up any points) going into the last 3 matches.

We all know how mad this division is for results.

We’ve got more chance of 2 teams going into administration and getting points deductions than winning our next 5 games. We are relegated, 10th, bottom, fucked.

As said mcintyre has had a tough time but i think its clear to see he’s not the man for the job and we should cut our losses. A lot of the players need to take responsibility and have been nowhere near the levels we know they can reach, big rebuild needed.

  5. Nobody seen that coming after 50 mins. Whole team showed everyone they have a lot of fight, spirit and quality left to show so hopefully we can (at the very least) make a fight of this. Mcintosh, lyon were very good and bird proved why he should be in the team. Shout out to stowe too who many (including me) have been critical of popping up with a vital assist and goal.
