So why isn't there one then? If you need to have certain system requirements to run the game, why was the game issued without a notice of these requirements? Rockstar's failure to make users aware of these requirements before buying the game makes them liable.

It's not a disc issue, so obviously it will work. No, Rockstar designing a game that doesn't work on certain consoles is the problem. Unless I missed the system requirements notice on the box, it absolutely is their problem.

My console is fine, runs every other game like a charm. It's the design of the game that's the problem.

Yep same with me. Sent mine off to repair, and was sent back a new one instead. Only hope I think is that they release a patch. They're completely ignoring the issue at the minute though, so could take a while, if it ever does happen.

Doesn't work at all on some original consoles, regardless of the hard drive or USB or whatever. Have you ever had to send it back to Microsoft for repair? Try installing disc 1 on a USB or external hard drive. If that still doesn't fix it, it's the game, not you or your hard drive. I'm guessing you have an original model 360? That's what I have, and along with many others we've found that the game doesn't work on these consoles for whatever reason. Just won't work at all. Need to wait on Rockstar to address the issue and stop ignoring it.

Well the game is completely unplayable due to console freeze on a very high number of peoples old, HDMI-less 360 consoles. That's a pretty major flaw that deserves to be criticized. The only solution they've had so far to the hundreds and hundreds of tweets on the issue is to say "Try it in another Xbox, here's a link to our website". Hopefully they'll stop ignoring that it's a design flaw and get a patch up pronto.

Why do you say that? Put GTA IV on for 20 minutes while I was watching the football and found no problems whatsoever. Yet I haven't been able to go 10 minutes on V without a crash. edit: another 35+ mins running Skyrim and nothing happens. I think that's 2 of the most heavy duty games out there running on my Xbox fine, I don't think it can be the problem. Has to be the disc I reckon.

An update if any one cares; Installed disc 1 on external hard drive and played disc 2 - crashed. Installed disc 1 on HDD and installed disc 2 on external hardrive and played from that - crashed Discs are clearly a load of fucking shite. Getting returned the morra. Amazon and/or Rockstar better have a grovelling apology for me.

Nah. Installed the first disc to the hard drive, and been playing off the "play" disc. It's crashed over 10 times now, it clearly isn't going to work anytime soon. I'll try an external hard drive later on. If it still fucks up then I've clearly been given a duff disc and the game will be getting shipped back off to Amazon.

In limited time I've actually been able to play it inbetween my 8(yes, EIGHT) console crashes, the polis is the only thing that irritates me. Takes fucking ages to get off them.

That's 5 times now. Xbox is about to get flung out the window.

Anyone having trouble with freezing? I've not even completed the first mision with Franklin and it's already crashed 4 times. Doing my fucking nut in.

I guess one disc will have the 8GB of data which you install to your HDD, and the other will be the "play" disc that you need to put in the disc drive to launch the game. f**k knows actually.

Hahaha. I fucking loved fist fights on IV. The gameplay physics for it were so perfect. Same with the bats. If you aimed the bat at somebody at the right angle you could doof it straight off their head for a 1-hit knock out. It was the most satisfiying feeling ever. I also loved when people chased you for a fight. Canny wack running down a busy street for a few minutes pushing every person you go past. If you look back you have about 10 people chasing after you. The plan after that is to get close enough to them so they swing for you, miss and hit one of the other folk chasing after you setting off a sqaure go between them. Or weaving them delicately through traffic and getting them smacked by cars.
