Agree with all this, thought Tomlinson was great going forward in the first half but got done big time for the first goal. I also thought Paddy Reading also had a very good game today as did Dempsey and Syla in the middle of the park. Perhaps being harsh here but I felt Mutch should have pushed the ball round the post with the free kick rather try and catch it/palm it back into play.

I thought Airdrie were very good today and was fairly impressed (apart from the mistakes that cost the first and second goals). You stretched the game well, the diagonal balls and range of passing at times was excellent. Lacking a little bit up front perhaps. I think a real chance of getting the play off spots with performances like that.

Tickets bought - £25 for an adult and child is a decent pricing option.

I spoke to him in the hub after the Inverness game and seemed like a decent guy. He did say he was enjoying his football here and liked living in Ayr etc. Although I guess he’s not going to say to a supporter after they’ve just been pumped that he hates it and can’t wait to get back down the road.

The manager was in the hub after the game on Saturday with the players (not singing before anyone asks) so I don’t think his absence from the ladies game this afternoon is any signal he’ll be away (could be wrong of course).

I was in the family stand and it could hear it clearly enough. Chalmers goal immediately after the 3rd and our small rally after that put a stop to it pretty quickly.

To be fair the majority of the squad were in as was the manager. My 6 year old was pleased to get a few photos of the players and some autographs. Unsurprisingly the players were very sheepish. Spoke to Jack Young and he said he’s enjoying his football here and enjoying living in Ayr. He said his last game will be next weekend and then waiting to see if the loan will be extended.

Was my first home game in months! And yeah agreed the atmosphere was like no one really gives a shit. Just inevitable we’d get beat. I didn’t think we were actually that bad today to be honest.
