  1. Because calling McGurn “The Warlock” sounds a bit farfetched tbh.
  2. Have I missed something? Who have Hamilton signed? Who have Morton signed? What about Ayr? Partick? I know of 1 player they signed on a PCA from the league below. We’re hardly far behind the other teams in this league( that their seasons are over) in signing players.
  3. You think the new manager that comes in main objective, should be to consolidate us( a team that in the last 2 seasons, have finished 3rd(lost out on 2nd last game of the season) and 5th by 2 points) into a mid table championship side? When you change manager, the new managers task is to, always, better the previous manager.
  4. [emoji849] We have clearly been watching a different player. After his first couple of games, there was 0 evidence that he was an upgrade. In the 4-0 home defeat to Ayr, Liam Dick was subbed off at half time for his awful first half showing. On comes Sean Mackie. After the game, quite a few Rovers fans were questioning why we had signed him when he was clearly not an upgrade. So he certainly wasn’t an instant upgrade. He did get better and looked half decent in the last few games of the season, when it no longer mattered. In saying all this, he may well be a good signing in League One and I’m not convinced he’s a championship standard player.
  5. Mackie is of a similar standard to Liam Dick. I don’t want to see Dick here next season, so I’d be delighted if someone else signed Mackie up to stop us going for him as well.
  6. Yes No inside info, was just my opinion [emoji1419] I do think he’ll come back for Bene and Spencer with both being out of contract now and we won’t have a manager in place until a week on Monday at the earliest.
  7. He’ll not make that mistake again this time around. Bene won’t be here for the new manager anyway. He’ll be away to Falkirk.
  8. Yeah I read that article as well. Nothing about Rovers in it and it actually says that he’ll be kept on at Cowden for next season regardless of what happens with their playoffs. And the article was from yesterday I’m sure.
  9. It’s not true anyway. Was just a Dundee United fan coming on attempting to start a rumour.
  10. Aye very good. This’ll be the same Maurice Ross that won’t manage another professional football team up here as he relegates Cowdenbeath out of the leagues? I’m assuming you’re a bit bored today?
  11. And if he would, he’d wait 10 days to get the job at East End
  12. Can’t believe that Jack Ross name has even been mentioned [emoji23] We rejected him and told him that he’d be a worse appointment than Gary Locke. Why would he give us the time of day now?
  13. Going by that article, it sounds like Spencer is already signed up for next season?
  14. I hope we offer him a new 2 year contract. I also think there’s 0% chance that we’d sack him before Christmas. You’ll be absolutely raging about that next January though.
  15. I think if you were to ask all 42 teams in Scotland what they’ll want, they’ll all put that as top of their priority list as there’s possibly only 3 or 4 strikers in Scotland that’s actually broke 20 goals this season.
  16. Can’t argue with much of that tbh. Did M’Voto not get player of the season for us? Before single-handedly relegating us with possibly the worst performance I’ve ever seen from an individual. And then signing for Dunfermline what felt like 30 minutes later? I completely forgot Lars Lokotsch even existed until you mentioned him [emoji23] I’d also have Jon Daly in there as well, not sure who he’d replace though.
  17. None of the games were moved. When the fixtures got announced back last June 2021 for this season. They already had all 5 championship games on this Friday night.
  18. If he continued his early seen form to the extent he’d be considered for this then next Friday night would have been the title decider and not tonight [emoji23]
  19. Here’s a thought, if we did win the next 2 games against Accies and Killie, and we ended the season on 52 points and still didn’t make the playoffs How many points is the maximum a team has had without making the promotion playoffs? That can’t be far off surely. I could be wrong though
  20. You’re welcome! I’m taking at least half the credit for that win last night [emoji1419]
  21. I’ll make this easier for you mate. QoS will finish with the hot potato.
  22. The North stand was a far better atmosphere than being in the stand behind the goals. Atmosphere at an away game is all about the banter/Chants between fans. You need to be near each other for this. Behind the goals at East End or Starks for that matter eliminates any sort of atmosphere between both sets of fans tbh.
