Still reckon we'll come good again..cardles had a few quiet games recently, spence is on his way to part-time football and Elliot's lost interest in the team at the minute as the defence and keeper were shipping in an average of 3 goals per game at Xmas so he couldn't match that himself. It's getting that goal to end the drought that's the hard part, once we get it, I really hope with the players we have, that we'll start scoring for fun again. In a couple of weeks, we also have Paul Watson returning from long-term injury which has been a huge loss which will make Mcgurn the only one that will be out from the excellent form at the start of the season. I think the only hope I have now is staying in this league for next season but unless our form does turn for the better again, even that could be a big ask.

4 points refers to the fact we'll win at least 1 of them which is kind of hard for a team who can't score.. I think Baird was a bit unlucky not to score in his debut yesterday, reckon he'll rack up a decent goal tally in the remaining games( I hope)

I said to my mate a couple of weeks ago..when we get our next win, I reckon we'll go on a bit of a run, and I still think the same, just hope our next win is this season and not next.

How do you think this? When did they tell the fans this? We have Craig Sutherland training with us still which I wouldn't understand if we still weren't considering him. Also it is rumoured that 5 clubs in the championship have expressed interest in John Baird, with Morton being confirmed as one of them, combined with our lack of goal-scoring threat..I would imagine we would be another one of those 5..with just over 2 days left, We may still offer one of these guys a contract. I still reckon, we'll make one signing in the next 2 days, just hope it's a decent one and not another defender.

Any news of us looking at any other potential signings? Or are we just going to go with what we've got? I know that Craig Sutherland is still training with us, not sure why he is, if we're not considering signing him though..?

Nah they both said, that Drysdale had said "if we can find the right quality of player in the right position" then we'd try and bring in a new face or two but if we can't find the right quality of player in the right position then "we'd be happy to go with what we've got". Which I think is a bit ridiculous as we clearly don't have the right quality of players at the minute, or we do and their just not managing to get thier full potential out of them.

I'm guessing with nothing else being said about Sutherland, that we're not approaching him? Or he might have been the player last week that we offered a contract, and he turned us down?

Any news on if we've signed Sutherland or not? What's the latest?

Does anyone know if It was the full first teams who played yesterday in the closed door game with Cowdenbeath or if it was reserves..? If it was reserves who played for us? Who scored for us? I know spence got 2, but who got the other 3?

We need a striker and fast...release spence if it's the funding that's the problem...he's the worst of a bad bunch at the minute and now with spence not even coming off the bench, what's the point in keeping him on the payroll? There's bound to be a decent striker out there at the minute looking for a club, if we can find one, we're still in with a decent shout for the play-offs..

The whole point of re-calling Donaldson back early was to drop Ellis from the side, as he's been one of our weakest links this season, therefore why would he then play Donaldson right back to replace Thomson this week, just to add Ellis right back into the squad...wouldn't make sense when we're needing to get back to winning ways and the best chance of that is having a strong back-four as laidlaws not exactly reliable.

The club now know how many tickets we're getting for the ramsden cup final apparently and will probably make an announcement. Hopefully mcgurns back for that, that's all I'm saying on the matter, don't really want our arses handed to us due to goalkeeping errors.

Who are we trying to kid? We're not gonna sign anybody whether it's on a free or a loan, we're going through this month without bringing anyone in

I think what he meant to say was We need a poacher.. Someone who stands up there constantly and is gonna score goals for fun as soon as you get the ball to him...a bit like graham was like last year!

There are definitely a few players we would need to give an extended contract to keep for the next few seasons, and with us pretty much guaranteed to be playing rangers, hearts, Dunfermline every second week, I think nows the time to do it, for example Elliot, Watson, Moon, Cardle, players who other teams will definitely try and swoop in and take from us in the summer, with the exception of cardle, if pars get promoted, he's going to end up there anyway, as he's always been and will always be a pars fan!

Spain burst my 7 fold which was gonna return 900 back from a tenner No idea why I stuck them on it when they were only 1/4! Absolute stupidity on my part! Oh well, on to the weekend, hopefully re-claim my loss plus a bit more!
