The Board are certainly giving a good impression of pigheadedness and abandoning duty. If it is purely financial then he must be on one hell of a wage if it outweighs reduced points money for league position, plus lower income from gate receipts as support dwindles, plus potential further financial losses if relegation happens, and that's even before you take into consideration the brutal style of football that's on offer. Obviously, or rather hopefully, Murray's pay-off will also have to be met but I can't see that as being a major problem. The Board has done some great things off the Park in their time, as well as some well publicised gaffs it has to be said, but the biggest embarrassment of their tenure would surely be taking a reasonably stable full time Championship level team back to possibly going part-time and flirting dangerously close to dropping into the fourth tier of the professional game just because they failed to take a decision a couple of months back to ditch Bartley, which was really a no-brainer.

There's been a distinct feeling of lethargy and a clear couldn't care less attitude seeping through Palmerston for at least a couple of seasons now, starting from Boardroom level and working it's way down to almost all parts of the Club, it's little wonder it's spread to the supporters who can see things crumbling, sometimes literally, around them. The football's a shambles, the ground is falling into decay and the leaders are about to wash their hands of it and walk away. As has been said, our fans don't really do revolt they just stop attending, but the powers that be don't seem to give a toss about that either, it'll be someone else's problem to fix.

OK blaming Bartley for this season's fiasco but home form has been poor for several seasons now.

Considering 2 of his other favourite teams were playing each other I expect he was at Annan.

So you really believe that Bartley accepted the job knowing he was restricted in the age of players he was allowed to sign. If that were the case why have a few been sent out on loan/released.

It's not as if poor home form is a one or two season problem it seems to have been like this for quite a few seasons, although this is probably the worst by a good margin I would guess.

If only we could forfeit home advantage I'd be more confident. Don't know what it is about Palmesrton that affects the players, the old surface used to get a bit of blame for performances, even though it didn't seem to affect visiting teams so much, they can't use that excuse now with a new carpet down. Maybe it's pressure from home fans, dwindling crowds should ease that problem too.

I never listen to Bartleys's interviews because they are a waste of time and I don't expect probing questions to be asked by the interviewer because she is basically a Club puppet. It's like a lot of things happening about the Club just now, tired and lethargic, it's just become a matter of routine to have an interview but the content doesn't seem to matter.

We've got a bigger comedian in our dugout. Unfortunately his style of comedy is no longer amusing the fans.

You obviously don't know that no-one should take any notice of Mazzy. He'll enjoy the bites he's had though.

What is it about home games that turns Queens players into soft, gutless, clueless, individuals? Misplaced passes, unable to put decent tackles in, easily dispossessed, lightweight and clearly unable to do the most basic of things you'd expect from "Professionals". The Manager is clearly an imposter but he should expect that players are able to do the basics of their trade. Bartley again though felt the need to tinker with the defence, no wonder there's little understanding built up when it's chopped and changed almost weekly. The quicker he and the vast majority of this squad gtf the better, an utter embarrassment to the Club and football.

Probably not in Queens' favour this time though.

Possibly Brydon more suited to replacing McClelland on the right of defence without disturbing other positions. Thought Brydon did well when he came on too.

Poor decision by the Ref not to send the Hamilton player off for kicking out at McClelland, or even book him, but to then speak to McClelland, who did nothing wrong that I could see, was also a joke.

Agree about Ferguson, absolutely empty jersey, as usual, for majority of the time he was on on the park but was coming onto game and actually looking impressive just in time to be hooked.

Echo what others have already said about Ches. A great servant to the Club both on and off the park. Sadly another passing of someone I admired in my teenage years watching Queens. Condolences to his family and friends.

Pretty sure he was mentioned by a few punters as an option prior to Bartley's appointment. One drawback put forward was him living in the Carlisle area and us currently training in Hamilton, some travelling unless that was changed. Eta: Of course if we go part time that might not be to much of a problem.

That's QoS knackered then, we have very little of either qualities.

He's no' very good a picking successful Clubs to support is he? Obviously didn't make his money doing the Pools.

Aye, can't say I was too impressed with him either, although harsh to judge on limited times he has played and Bartley's tactics. maybe a slight upgrade on Logan (when played on left) and McIntyre, but Kilsby is probably better defensively if not attackingwise.
